  1. She had to run up the hill and then get her bike corrected. Probably 2 minutes in that alone. Then had to redline to pass all of the field for 5 laps from the back. All this at your home event when you were wanting to perform. Yes, I would say she had a right to be disappointed and angry at the end of the event. As would any professional in that situation. Yet she still composed herself and interviewed soon after. Not bad for someone who is not even 21 years old. For someone who is still learning i think it showed massive professionalism and yes I definitely think it's impressive
  2. Positions were pretty much set from hallway through lap 1. The stigger Frei for 3rd was about the most exciting bit too watch. Mitterwalner coming up to 15th was pretty impressive after that disastrous start
  3. Cam balanche destroyed everyone. Unreal run
  4. Bloody frenchies are unstoppable
  5. Just looking at the results from the juniors. 0.038 difference in the men's juniors between Williams and Goldstone!
  6. It's actually not as bad as I first thought. As long as the rain stays away it should be ok
  7. Weather is atrocious!
  8. thats going to hurt his "going for 6"
  9. With Finn out, I edited my fantasy team and put in mr minn because its fort william. I hope my gamble pays off...and well, I hope mr Minn pulls another one out of the bag
  10. That was some savage entertainment. Ninos recovery and pidcocks power at the end were both unreal
  11. I thought that short course today was too short. Needed a few extra bits to mix it up. Don't get me wrong the ability to sustain that level for all those laps is nothing short of impressive, but would have liked to see the field split up a bit more and some tactics at play
  12. Pretty sure there's no issues there. They are still together as far as I am aware
  13. You underestimate what a win does for someone. Brasil was similar conditions as Australia and she had the legs. And know she's confident. She's been on the podium for a couple of seasons and a few second places as well as 2 bronze medals in worlds
  14. Pretty decent women's race, but Becs was a class above. Solid top 3, but also great to see all these young women coming through. Women's XC is looking good for the next few years.
  15. Yeah, they is what I mean
  16. Gaze looks to be a different person. More mature. Sometimes setbacks make your introspect. Let's hope he stays like this. Oh another note, I'm not sure what Rob and Bart have against Alan. They'll mention everyone else in the top 10 and even top 20 except Alan.
  17. That's why I edited my post to say world cup race.. But it was 2019... So I'll edit that again!
  18. 2019 since nino last won a world cup race. You could see how much that meant to him
  19. He missed a bottle on about lap 4 and I think that blew him
  20. Lekker lekker... It's xco and dh season again.. My favourite time of the year
  21. That was a pretty epic women's race. Highly entertaining and great win for McConnell
  22. Happy birthday Dale. Congratulations on this milestone. Best wishes for the year forward.
  23. so spent the weekend doing the Marathon in 24 hours this weekend. While it pales in comparison to the things that jewbacca does it is certainly a difficult type of event and a LOT harder than I imagined. The biggest issue is that your muscles warm up and then cool down every hour, and instead of keeping moving, you run for 8 minutes and then hang around for 50 minutes. as a result this is the stiffest my legs have ever been - even worse than comrades. we basically did 3.2 miles to start a 5am, and then did a mile every hour on the hour till 4am. We threw in some 26.2 themed challenges along the way, like 26.2 one bounce touches, 26.2 pushups and 26.2 pullups. also threw in a fry up and a braai in the middle of it (quite interesting lighting a fire and cooking and then eating with a run in the middle). All went ok until about 11pm when we needed to put on the headlamps and the hours of 11pm to 4am were painful. We basically did our run...got drenched in sweat in 8 minutes because of the humidity and then went and lay down boiling hot for 30 minutes got 10 minutes sleep and rinsed and repeated! All in all a good challenge...next one...a mile in each of the 32 counties of Ireland in 32 hours....but we will need a designated driver for that!...maybe next summer..once we have forgotten about the hurt for this one!
  24. I see Mo Farah didnt qualify for the olympics...i didnt expect him to podium...but I thought he would at least be able to qualify
  25. It's a show about a man... But it's also a show about a women, Kim Wexler, who is phenomenal in it
