    My ASICS get about 1000 miles. I still have one pair on about 900 miles that I still use, but only for short runs. I have switched to Brookes and my first pair of Ravenna's (which are not a marathon shoe) are on about 700 miles and they are starting to feel like they're ready to be replaced. I don't use them for long runs anymore. My Brookes adrenaline pair are on about 300 miles at the moment and still feel brand new

    For the record...I was referring to the standard maxed shoes.. Not the carbon plate ones... I agree Those have a life limit regardless of brand

    I think you'll find that after about 400 to 500km they will be shot... But 2 pairs will still be cheaper than 1 pair of a big name brand... However It's just more crap to go on the landfill eventually... So I'll rather buy the big brand name

    it will be the same for 2022 I reckon...doubt I will qualify. Still deciding if it is worth it. Might just be easier to enter a European marathon

    and then there is this...the same on a 120mm hardtail...can you imagine is arms and legs afterwards!

    thats a pretty amazing perspective - gives you a real sense of whats involved the scary thing is that Gee is off the competitive pace now and look how fast it was

    I hope you come right with your insurance.. This is a big loss you've had. Holding thumbs everything you get paid out

    It's for this reason I don't declare an alarm system. It does not decrease your premium really and the consequences of it being off when your have a robbery are far greater

    I see I still qualify for 2022 as they are allowing times since 1 September 2019 and I ran my last marathon in the October

    I know how you feel lexx... Although different circumstances...I don't see myself running it again either. I'm just glad I got to experience 3 very special runs

    Terribly sad... Sounds like horrendous organisation though. There's a reason why there's so much emphasise on the kit etc you must have for ultra trail running

    If you click on a notification from the toast popup, it doesn't clear the red notification in the balloon. Very annoying for the OCD among us

    if its in the right price range it it will sell. I am not sure what the property market is like there at the moment, but houses here are being listed and sold within a week. When we sold in SA back in 2017. we listed and sold within about 1 month, but our buyer put in an offer after 2 weeks...we just dragged it out a bit to see if we could get a better offer

    We have just been through the process of buying here and you will not believe what a difference a wide angle lens makes. Also, declutter as much as you can - the more floor space you can see the better

    ok - I will try that. Question - how do you see your saved streams - I can see benefit of having a few focused streams that i could switch between

    This is my issue with the active topics. I save a stream to show everything - as below I then click Active topics on the top because I've been browsing and want to go back to the topic listing - and this is what I get I cant however even switch back to the stream I saved previously - so every time I have to change Content Types to "All Content"
