My brother is in finance in the UK. They still do make tons of cash. Even with all that recession mumbo jumbo the guys were coining it. Sure, there were some guys who lost a lot of money, some jobs & opportunities disappeared but don't think for a second that the okes are cap in hand at the boss' desk looking for some extra dosh to finance the new german/italian vehicle. If KV makes a bucket load of cash - good on you fella! He identified an oppurtunity & had the balls to go for it. Honest hard work, persistence & initiative deserves reward plus he is not punting it as a charity event. I have yet to hear anybody complain about that Zuckerberg laaitie and his pot of gold...

Jeez DR, don't be such a sourpuss. I would like to earn a million smackers today but that is not going to happen. Should I go home, veg on the couch and feel sorry for myself then? Don't get me wrong - I was rooting for 360Life from the start and after watching Epic Tale I was full of hope that we'll see them win the race. The poor buggers were dogged by bad luck on the first stage. I feel really sorry for them, but, realistically speaking, their race for the podium is over. That is all I'm saying...

Hi, I'm in Sunninghill too. There is quite a couple of us in the area training for the S2C. Spinning during the week with some Breedts/VG's/Spruit/whatever over the weekend. Offer the oke with the GT R4k (maybe R5k at most). He can only say no. Rather spend a little more than initially anticipated lest you are planning on upgrading in a year or two. Friend of mine is buying a Commencal for R12600 off the Hub, pricing on the bike started off at R19000 a couple of weeks ago.
