  1. What about those LEDLenser jobbies?
  2. Cool... One of those Swiss made bikes... What is this 650B business all about?
  3. Some of the arguments are valid. What really grates my cheese is when you okes use the guy on the R60k carbon bike with all the bells and whistles as an example. Are you really that bitter? Do you also bitch and moan about successful people who are able to afford Ferraris but cant drive like Alonso whilst driving your very own Atos?!?
  4. Not too sure what the max pressure rating is on a shock. You might run the risk of blowing out the seals on a trail and then you'll have to limp all the way home.
  5. Cheap & nasty way - get a piece of square tubing/round bar from builders. Drill to same centre to centre distance as the extended shock. Paint nice colours. Replace shock with nicely painted square tubing/round bar. Not too sure what it'll do to the lugs on the frame/dynamics of the frame when impact occurs.... Ride at own risk....
  6. Yup. ...the top of the web page reckons it is the 5th of Jan 2013 and the bottom the 21st Dec 2012. Entries only open for the 2011 event though... http://www.24-7adventure.com/events/rock-pedal-classic.html
  7. ...so it's a "no" then. Groovy...
  8. Relax champ. Any compelling arguments you (might've) made was just sent down the shitter with your last statement. Super mature.
  9. ...so any luck with the dates & entries an this bugger yet? Going to be down there between the 16/17th-30th.
  10. You mean these buggers? I had two shots whilst waiting for a mate who is a bit of a rookie.
  11. double post
  12. Mate of mine is part of the CPF out that way. They just missed the f@ckers when they got onto the Tembisa bound train. They phoned the Tembisa police station for assistance because a wit ou in a Landy pickup will stand out a bit there. Not sure if the police followed up on the tip but I'm pretty sure they did'nt.
  13. Joline is a little too DollyPartonesque for my liking.
  14. Agree mostly with what you've said bar the the "Joelines" bit - I would've referred to "Josephines".
  15. Looks like it could be more effective than a spade...
  16. Bit of a silly argument if you ask me. The other day on the highway I overtook a SLK55 AMG, Lambo Gallardo and an Porsche Cayenne Turbo in my POS Corolla. Moerse hero. I suppose if you can afford it - cool and good for you, else not really your problem. Each to his own.
  17. More or less what I've posted on sports drinks in general over here
  18. Those were bad... Grabbed one for the rode and nearly choked.
  19. Thanks but the guys are not the importers anymore. Trying to find out who the new buggers are...
  20. Balls. Thought is was only Amazon with their trade constraints thing... Thanks guys. Anybody knows who the RaceFace importers are?
  21. ...anybody...?
  22. OK before you okes crucify me, with CRC do they have a "country availability" policy? What I mean by this is I want to get a RaceFace handlebar. When I'm looking at the items and my country is set to GB I see all the RaceFace items. As soon as I log in and my country is the good ol' ZAR no RaceFace items are available. Have done numerous CRC purchases but this is the first time I picked up on it. Anybody else experience this? BTW, the same handlebar is 200 bucks cheaper at Buycycle - they dont have my colour though...
  23. I have an Easton MonkeyLite 660mm wide low rise on my Niner. It feels a little narrow. Going to get one of these (in red) if I can find one. http://www.buycycle.co.za/buyparts/handlebars-mtb/raceface-en/raceface-turbine-riser-handlebar.html They had them on CRC last night but today they are missing....
