Trailstar up front and pacestar is in rear. I run hans dampf on two bikes. On the longer travel Trance its great and grippy. On the Anthem 29er I do not have any wear problems even though I ride tar out to Jonkershoek.

Nobby Nics are particularly bad. Another bad one is WTB Vigilante. I like my Hans Dampf up front.

So when you go riding at the Spruit or whatever, ride there on your bike and try see that as your interval.

Who cares. The lightest FullSus is one you cant take down a trail.

Great route and not too tough for a 70km. The start of the route makes for a good warm up before the climbs. There is a lot more hills in that area as the guys will see on next year's Epic. All in all the best ppa event I have done. Great prizes, loads of waterpoints and good venue. Think the event will be massive in years to come!
