  1. Niner SIR. 1 x 9 (32 x 11-32). No chain keeper. Works a treat.
  2. Murray Orthoped. Custom built. 15 years. 'nuff said. But it's a personal thing, if pretty is more important than comfortable...............
  3. Only in SA is this kind of debate raging...ride what you like for &^%$'s sake. Just ride. Maybe ask Bra Juju what his thoughts are on the matter
  4. Please no!!! I have an order that says "dispatched"... and then all quiet.......
  5. @ Puncher: Thank God Cape Storm don't see things the way you do. That's why they are still a premier brand. Oh, I tried joining the dots on the pendulum, but they wouldn't keep still.
  6. @Capestorm: That's the way. Step up to the plate. Just gone up a few notches. Oh, and @Puncher: Rude and abusive. Or just plain rude. Or rude and offensive. Google. Sending a customer something like that is rude, as it shows a lack of concern for the customer. (Even though the customer may not know his jean pant from his cycling pant, which his girlfriend still has anyway)
  7. "Capestorm does not offer Exchange or Refunds on Sale items, This policy is written on proof of purchase. Please advise whether I can assist you further. Kind regards," If that is the email in context, then it's downright rude and Cape Storm go down a notch. Good gear or not, that is no way to communicate with customers. Sounds like someone needs a kick in the pants yabbies or more politely, some training.
  8. Kos en water. (Food and water for the rest) It's worked for millennia.
  9. Don't hold your breath while waiting for 650 wheels to become the next big thing. Rather spend the time riding.
  10. I'd support that.
  11. Speak to Victor Mattfield about dental insurance (for starters). If you survive this exercise with two Staffies on two leashes, it proves that Darwin's no longer got his eye on the ball. This ain't the f*&king Iditarod you know
  12. These guys have one serious bike box http://www.magneticsouth.net/products/bike-box/ Tad heavy but bomb-proof, big enough to take your 29r and even some space to add the mother in law. Check it out. And the price is very reasonable.
  13. Anybody?
  14. I have some interesting Karoo routes. PM me if that's where you want to ride.
  15. It's called "Latex Memory", not unlike plastic memory. In this case it proves that your tubeless sealant was made of expired Chinese (size small) condoms. (Those that don't get sold to the KZN government)

  17. I didn't opt in for junk mail. Cut the crap.
  18. Tyre liners are a great way of adding weight to a tubed wheel, should you need that. They are to puncture prevention what crochet is to contraception, to misquote and old quote.
  19. OK Big Boy, you've cocked it, now point and squeeze. We're waiting. Don't close your eyes when it goes bang.
  20. Buy a cheap front axle with skewer and weld it up. Cheapest, simplest. Just don't weld through the axle, it makes inserting the skewer a bit tricky
  21. And there I was thinking Witch was some wicked new girls mtb brand. Bugger.
  22. Anywhere the UCI don't shine will be fine by me.
  23. "Is it worth carrying tubeless plugs and the tool to insert them with? I have a set here but the plugs seem very thin. Do you get different thickness plugs?" Depends how much you like walking.
  24. Pie plates are the new carbon. I'm keeping my old Drillium one from the Hansom for some retro-douche with too much money
