  10. Hello world! I'm 18 years old and since about 5 weeks ago when I was sick, I have been getting this unbarable prickly feeling when my temperature changes. When I go riding, it takes about 10 min for my body to warm up and then I have to stop completely to scratch the hell out of me on my head and chest area. This also happens when I do sudden movements. Once I am warmed up, I can keep on riding and i'm usually fine for the rest of the ride.. Does anyone know what this is? Never happend to me before...
  11. I'm running the alligator starlite rotors at the moment. I they are light weight and look good but I feel that my braking power is just not 100%.. Are these very similar to them? They look like a good buy..
  12. Haha, gotta be crazy to spend that much money on rotors!
  13. What would the best rotor be for cross country racing where there must be good power but also light weight?
  14. definitly find that running helps. Just looking in my catagory of competition (junior men) in the top ten, more than half of the riders have had some running history or are running currently as part of training...
  15. When riding though loose, rocky single track, stay in big blade in the front and bigger blade in the back (cross chain isn't such a big deal when going downhill). This protects the teeth of your front chain ring as because when rocks and stones flig up and hit your chain ring, the chain protects the teeth from getting bent.
  16. Ok great, thanks!
  17. Hi all Very intersting thread! Question: I'm riding compeditively in the XCO and XC nationals in the junior men catagory. I've read a lot in this thread about how 32GI promotes fat storage tapping as part of the energy source. I cannot afford to loose weight as I struggle putting on weight (65kg, 182cm Tall) so would I still benefit from the product with out loosing wieght?
  18. As far as I know, they are..
  19. Well i suppose if you calves start hitting on the top tube of your bike, then you know you have a problem. I have the opposite, I'm a reasonably good rider and have been riding for 4 years now, two years competing in nations and they still look like sticks! my quads are a different story. how can I get them a bit bigger?
  20. I'm also thinking of doing the oakly route... I know its expensive but as you've now heard, its apparantly worth it. How much does it cost for Laser treatment? I'm a compeditive Junior MTBer age 18 and desperate for some vision... hehe
  21. So i'm guessing that the sintered pads last longer... But I heard they can make quite a noise... it that true?
  22. also what would you recommend???
