    Do you know that for example velcro is based on bio mimicry? Is that not a very usefull invention? Why not bring this form of invention to cycling? Please get educated on the matter before you make stupid comments.

    Was keen on trying to finish. Broke my bike over the weekend and its not fixed yet. guess you win some, you lose some.

    Loved this event. My first stage race done and dusted. Last day was proper! Such a nice 15km section of single track downhill coming from the top. Night ride was awesome having so many people on the trails as the single night race usually only attracts about 20-30 okes. Waterpoints were awesome and there were plenty! Very clever idea to utilise a waterpoint twice, coming up and down from loops riding different trails. I hope this event goes from strength to strength. Thanks to the organisers as well as everyone that did the ride. You are all lekker friendly people

    Why does a competition to win a MTB entry revolve about distance? This just inspires road rides. Why not include a simple formula that incorporates elevation gain or something? Go riding in Jonkershoek, do Saaltjie up and all the way down the canaries and corkscrew, go up to the start of Red Bennet and come down and end with a Firehut. It's less than 30 km that doesn't mean anything in this competion but I'm sure you will have much better prep for W2W. Also, if W2W is your type of thing you will probably have more fun too.
