  15. i was/ am looking for the right setting. sometimes the slowest was better, but then i ride a section of road and feel it is not right. for me the difficulty is that tire pressure also influences the feel. for this weekend i set the shock to around middel with a tire pressure of 1.7 infront i felt it performed better. if one cant measure all perameters ie shock pressure, tire pressure, rebound speed and just go on feel it will always be a hit and miss affair
  16. the heat killed me. i was prepared but not for the heat. last rode in 2009 similar time this year why was there no beer at the expo???
  17. pros... u can use any shoe, takkie to ride with. takkies to walk "cheap" cons... flex, MTB cleats the way to go IMO. good enough to walk in, stiff enough. pros. can be expensive cleats work better cause you are "attatched" to the bike. you push and pull in the pedal stroke. more efficeint use of the power it is just betta
  18. my second this year. my first we also toke time out at the half, my strategy this time will be to fill up if i need to grab a chippy and be off. the "rest" is not good for you. IMO
  19. i noticed the rocket rons min and max psi min 2 bar and max 3 bar before i fitted these i rode 1.8bar rear and 1.6bar front. i am concern the tyres will be too hard if a go 2 bar. what are ur experiences regarding the pressures of the ron's and what precautions must i take with these tires, besides enough stans...

  23. I my opinion the better prepare you are for the race the less, carbo loading and gu's will contribute to a good time. iam talking about the average fun rider looking for sub 4's or sub 6's (mtb races)
  24. I don't change anything. normally eat out the nite before as the race is in another city. I will then try to go for pasta. I on occasion have eaten muffins for supper using 32gi as a nite cap and also in the morning limit to one or two lite beers
  25. virtual coach for interval training... ie program the intensity levels and time, voice in ear phone as not to have to read. for those who needs specs, to read
