  11. the longer you ride the more cost effective the argus becomes ie ...entry fee/time
  12. You a absolutely right, I and the rest are assuming “things” because none of us know him as observed from the comments. Yet we make suggestion about training and other comments that certain products don’t work and suggest he trains more. He is asking which of the cramp block pills work and which do not or what other remedies we might suggest. So why not give feedback regarding the question asked. No one has asked the guy about his training regime to determine if the problem might be insufficient/ ineffective training. I think we can be more helpful on the forum other than criticise and make irrelevant comments "thanx I am feeling better now"
  13. LMAO at some of the comments, the guy is finishing multi day events but he must train more. Obviously some did not read the article about cramps. The pills replace calcium, magnesium and other minerals that are key in the electrolyte the muscle needs to communicate with the brain. Cramp block works u can try it. I assume the other training tools are in place i.e. stretching, training at the right intensity… etc.
  14. I am going for it. will report back
  15. the LBS has one, but it is mine calling dibs LOL

I can get a zaskar race frame around 2001 i think (red and black). i know/ think the zaskar geometry will be a racing setup? will it be much different. if i build my bike over to the zaskar frame (16” 1.5kg) what will i gain... weight approx. how much geometry (I don’t understand this) what would u recommend untitled.bmp
  19. so he was found guilty, Andy now the winner... LA... investigation dropped "In 2012, in some ways it is one less GC (general classification) rider," Evans said after attending the Laureus awards in London. "Whether that is an advantage or a disadvantage, it depends. "Certainly at any grand tour that he lines up in, he (Contador) is normally the man to beat and that is what his record shows. "So in that regard maybe...(it helps)." With this year's Tour de France course leaning in favour of strong time trialists, Contador and Evans were considered the main contenders alongside the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Schleck and Denis Menchov. Bookmakers reacted to Contador's ban by installing Evans as hot favourite to win the 2012 race, with one Australian bookie slashing his odds to $2.50.
  20. the biggest issue for me is avail... over the long term, if it works well for me price is not a big issue but if I can't buy it again then I will not even try it. the other thing is it will be cheaper at first but as market share grows the price increases
  21. epic pro has peptopro in (protein) that tastes is very bitter, but it really works tested a few times with good results. peptopro that is
  22. There is no “old” threads just worn threads LOL. This is purely for information and future reference. I used the U-POL primer this weekend and it worked fine, dries quickly and goes on smoothly, it is a bigger can than the normal spray cans, thus I think it should do a bike. I used lacquer thinners not mineral thinners it is less “oily” to clean the surface. Sprayed the primer left it over nite, sprayed the basecoat left it over nite. Put the decals on and clear coat left to dry. Some say leave for a week. I sprayed a 1:5 ratio using the cups u buy for spray painting. Very happy with the result
  23. I have disassembled and reassembled bikes before and it is not difficult. I have a set of allen keys and a BB (external BB) wrench. That is all u need for the basic stuff. For the more complicated stuff like wheel building... I take it to the LBS to do U may need a torque wrench to do a proper job
  24. Rob when last did u ride mate, u seem uptight...go for a nice long ride this afterrnoon u will destress
  25. first thing visit a bike shop and see what u can buy with ur budget, i would not buy anything with less than deore, deore lx or XT groupset 2nd, search the web to see what is on the market 3rd, search for a 2nd hand bike 4th, spend slightly more than u can afford right now, about 2k more (save) 5th, ride and enjoy ur bike I started 7 years ago and it was the best decision I made. I will not stop riding as long as I can ride. I bought a GT for R5000 in 2006 and I am still riding it everyday, just about I really hope I did not use oxymorons
