I saw the disclaimer when entering the crater cruise about usi rules and drug testing. will the fun riders be tested like they did with the guy (back marker) that rode the epic and got banned for doping is this doping tests going to impact on "us fun riders" in future?

yes that is what im saying, on the terrian we riding, they are faster, but they are struggling on inclines.

EP kings did better than i thought, they won without king puke playing. but we dont have 6 competitive teams in SA. sad but true. This year we had 4 teams that was competitive, Stomers and sharkes struggled but came good towards the end. in AUS only reds and brumbies where competitive in NZ only highlanders where poor BUT... the EP kings can't win the Lions!

i foresee this debate going on for the next couple of years, just like the tubes vs tubeless... even today some are not convinced one bad or good experince will change ur mind. what 29 did for me is make me ride harder and faster, making me fitter and stronger... i must ride hard to keep up to the 29ers on my 26er. also gives me reason not to pace upfront. all round, these 29ers are making me stronger

BOTTLE STERILISATION By Jazz Kuschke Riding bottles and hydration packs go manky pretty flipping quickly. Milton – that stuff used for baby-bottle sterilisation – is your best friend. I prefer to use the tablets (two litres of water to a tablet). Vigorously swirl the mixture around in the bottle or pack and then let it stand for about 30 minutes. Boom… Be sure to thoroughly rinse the bottle or pack afterwards, else on the next ride your drinks are bound to taste as though they were mixed with pool water (that’s a lot better than mould, anyway). Those fancy baby-bottle brushes work pretty well too. It is as they say: ‘What’s good enough for baby…’

what advantages will ultegra crank have over 105 crank. is it that much better, or will a 105 be good enough. i have a sora groupo and want to upgrade to ultegra, crank then shiftes later and so on
