  1. Yeah Fast Tracks are good, not the lightest but they are pretty cheap compared to the rest.
  2. Those aren't bad hey, how much do you want for them quickdraw?
  3. Schwalbe Furious Fred's are about the fastest you can get, that said they have very little grip.
  4. Normally you can feel when you're fork needs a clean. The compression can become slightly notchy and the rebound can often slow up completely.
  5. Keep the Reba will give you a much better ride than the manitou ever will.
  6. Extralite and Tune are the two lightest brands available.
  7. Apparently its a lighter setup than a 2x9. I reckon thats a load of cr@p though nothing is lighter than a THM Clavicle crankset done up with Extralite TA Specialities , 28 tooth inner ring and Extralite 44 tooth Octaramp, ( outa ring). match that witha KCNC 11-32 cassette and you are allready 200 grams lighter.
  8. Nah leave it, its wicked as is.
  9. Thats Cheers on MTBR, I know him pretty well. He is going for some Sun Ringle EQ21 rims on a Industry Nine build on the wheels.
  10. Be carefull not too slip on it.
  11. I have EIA and am thus very susceptible to lung infections, the moment I get any sort of infection I go down to the doc, I know lots of antibiotics ain't great for you but it sure as hell beats being sick. Racer X2008-09-13 09:16:18
  12. The only true tubeless rim on the market is the Mavic XM 819, other than that you can buy factory built wheelsets ie XTR
  13. Nice bike, I'd upgrade the seatpost though, KCNC Ti-Lite Pro or a Token unit Patini it. What cockpit have yuo got up front?
  14. This is the way I see it. Token is a major company, they will thus, in no way, release a product without thoroughly testing it. To send out a untested product is financial suicide. I mean why take the chance? I therefore have no quarms about buying anything from TokenFreak, the products he brings in are well made, good looking and are alot cheaper than allmost anything else on the market. If something does go wrong it can easily be sent to him to be replaced. As you can imagine I have been really excited about the Token range and shall use as much of it as I can on any future bikes that I purchase.
  15. As are Ferrari's and Lamborghini's ...... I am an Aston Martin man myself.
  16. Spez frames are very pricey
  17. This is a **** stirrers anonymous thread.
  18. I prefer the Ipod sort. Yeah FSA are good how much do you wanna spend though?
  19. Yeah pretty much
  20. Depends how dry it is. I reckon so, yeah, just put some into a little bottle and shub it in your hydration pack/pocket. When its starts to make a nasty noise dribble some lube onto the chain.
  21. Just use 2054 for all your tyres SB, it ain't gonna make a difference, well it shouldn't. My old Sigma BC 1200 cradle broke a while ago, I just nicked some epoxy and rebuilt it. Alternatively just stick some prestik in there.
  22. Those Maxxis USTs are nothing to LUST over, they weigh a ton.
  23. The table reading is fine 26 x 2.0 = 2054, stick that figure in and you'll be fine. A wider tyre does not make the length/width of the wheel any different as the magnet sits on the spoke, not the tyre. Hope this helps.
  24. Wafting through the manual now
  25. Budget?
