  1. I am waiting till I get Alzheimers, I reckon my memory will then improve.
  2. Not that I know of.
  3. Bikes have handle bars for a reason. That said I go handless quite often and see how fast i can go, then I am under 21 and thus frontal lobe has not fully developed yet. Therefore I do not properly perceive danger.
  4. We need a bit more information, what model is it for a start?
  5. I reckon Burry could get a medal, he has managed two second places at this years various WC's.
  6. Oh yeah there is enough movement in my X.9 to accomdate 10 clicks, will try get some pics up tonight when the the camera returns.
  7. Right so after hours of taking the damn thing apart and then puting it back together I finally managed to get my tenth gear cut into the shifter. Now all I need is a 10 speed cassette with 29 teeth or more. I wonder if I'll get a 10 speed cassette onto a 9speed freehub body.
  8. What was one group doing on the wrong side of the road?
  9. BB, tell LB to order another pure-delite air valve cap, like the one where he pumps the fork up, you then take out the compression system and put the new cap on. Saves about 150 grams in weight.
  10. I have the Poplock with compression adjust on my Reba and I can honestly say that its a waste of weight. On off is all I ever use. Incidently Marzocchi have made a TST compression remote lockout, it has 5 levels of remote compression until it locks out completely.
  11. You look so miserable, or is that your serious face
  12. Looks in good nic then.
  13. New FSA K-Force, I think.
  14. Samma is/was in Afghanistan.
  15. I have got me one of KCNC Ti Lite Pro's. Super cool post, 142 grams for a 350x 27.2 option.
  16. What do Dura Ace/ Red go for then?
  17. Thanks Dylan and HammerHead. Speedi stop showing your age.
  18. See my answer above dude.
  19. www.sportsdirect.co.za brings in Extralite. There stuff is very very expensive though.
  20. The new 970 XTR cranksets are the 770 XT cranksets are both compatible with each other. The older 960 XTR units have very specific chainring sizes. You can either buy, XTR chainrings, Middleburn, Blackspire, TA Specialites etc. I reckon you're best bet to be the Middlebur ones. I had a 29 tooth ring cut out for my 960 at local engeneering worrks. Maybe one of your local ones can help.
  21. Just changed the shifting bits on my gripshifters and after looking at the internals I reckon I could get a 10th gear in there with a bit o tinkering. Question, does anyone know whether the Sram road derailleurs use the same 2:1 ratio that the MTB ones use. At present my only major prob is the lack of cassette choices, obviously a 11 - 28/29 is my best bet.Racer X2008-08-17 07:11:04
