  2. 4 out of 7 hmmm thats 57% of us KZNer's. Will PM trialrider.
  3. I'm in
  4. I hate you WW. Those treads will not let you down though, well as long as its dry anyway.
  5. If you want plain out durability go for aluminium it will be far more resilient. That said it is not indestructable. Have you ever seen a alu bike after its done the Imana, not a pretty sight. The pro's of carbon are basically its weight and slightly more forgiving ride. That's it.
  6. If WW does not want to test one I'll sacrifice myslef to do the job.
  7. Does Aeris Pro, top 1 I think, have a proper lockout or a SPV typo thing like manitou.
  8. It was an 80 mm for on a scale frame with a neg 6 degree stem and a flat bar. Nope I reckon that it was the 300 gram weight difference. Too light
  9. I actually met a guy today who rode one of there higher end forks. Rode it round the parking lot. Seemed very plush and stiff, kept on pulling the front wheel up too high though ;-)
  10. www.spinnerusa.com Hey WW your the shop owner ;-) Peronally I would look at fitting some Schwalbe Furious Fred Tubeless Tyres, they come in at around about the 440 gram mark, lightrest tubless tyre on the market, for a 2" So far with all upgrades you are looking at 7.76 KG with rigid fork and and Furious Freds.
  11. Dirtbreath - She looks much happier now. Dylan - Why is there a Shakespearian play under your bicycling mags?
  12. no, Guiness
  13. Congratulations
  14. why one? why not both? Whichever has the best carbs/protein ratio. Guinness
  15. And in the mountain biking catergory: A certain Ms. Gudex
  16. Yeah well, thought it would please a select few
  17. Okay so the final say is, DB - Stick to your XTR and lube them as often as possible. If you have money buy I-link if not...... well carry on lubing those XTRs. BTW the way thats what I am running at the moment standard Shimano housing with XTR teflon cables. Never have shifting complaints.
  18. The one on the Kona looks like a standard 135 axle though
  19. I agree, can't afford them either. Just expressing my inner weight weenie/ bicycle magpie tendencies. BTW where can you get gear cables @ 10 bucks each
  20. But they still don't look as good
  21. I-Link works and looks better, also a lot lighter. You could throw in some Powercordz too.
  22. Tune wheel build, very nice.
  23. You're joking, WOW that crankset has a 9 grand price tag. TA rings aren't bad either. That has to be a sub 10 Kg build.
  24. Now thats more like it, is that a THM crankset?
  25. I find the rival very soft, however, I generally ride on SLRs. If you want go the Spech route check out the Phemon or the Toupe.
