Damn, as expensive as a helmet

I've wanted an Urge helmet for a while, so when I got an email last night from CRC having a special offer on helmets, I decided what the hell and bought the Urge but then added another one to make the shipping worthwhile.

But as Eldron says, it isn't limited to bike parts. I wanted a part for my car, dealer quoted R1 400 for a piece of plastic, same part from Ebay excluding shipping is R600.

Now you have your answer as to why the seatpost clamp was so expensive. And I haven't even mentioned a brand name.

As Dubber says, you should be able to use all-share. If not, Chromecast is a cheap alternative.

I also only ordered their hubs. If I recall correctly, they took approx 10 days to arrive but I don't think there was a tracking number.

I have their Pro 320 Singlespeed hub and their Superfast front hub on my Surly. No problems at all.

Did you speak to the rider at the finish about the issue?
