We had a lekker ride yesterday morning. Rode the DDD. Damn glad that wasn't in the race as I pushed most of the uphill but the downhill was sublime, then went back and rode Karen's again. Eventually got home at 5.

Birzman make a chain breaker which I use for my half link Contact International Trade.

What an epic weekend!! Tough climbs, sandstone, flowing singletrack, fixie sprints, beer, daisy, big screen for the rugby, good food and a great bunch of like minded people.

I'll be running 32x20 on phatt tyres. Won't need to peddle on the downhills.

Not nice at all but I'm glad that you weren't hit. Can you remember where the house is? I would take a visit to the local cop shop and report it. Nothing will probably come of it but you never know.

You are thinking of the wrong bridge. This one is wooden. I had the same issue this morning and also just managed to stop. The bridge is still their but in 2 pieces due to the storm and in the grass.
