  1. Where can I find results?
  2. Good meeting you EZRider. It was a tough race with all that mud but thankfully it was cool and overcast which helped tremendously. Strava recorded 79.6km with 2338m of climbing! Excellent training for Attakwas!
  3. I was happy with my E112. Did both half and full IM's on it as well as a number of duathlons.
  4. A new dog? Woof motherf*cker Woof!
  5. Last day to register to get your once in a lifetime limited edition super special T-shirt. Head over to http://swampdogs.co.za/farmasutra/
  6. What wheel size are you riding TNOSE_E? I'll probably look at a 32x18 or 19 on my 29er. There is a mountain that you cycle up but the singletrack is smooth, not technical and there are plenty of switchbacks. So a climbing gear would be my recommendation. Hardtail, in terms of camping...
  7. Dot 4 or 5.1
  8. And the above rules apply to Ironman events not 5150's (although it's the same organisation in SA).
  9. Have these on my Titus. Old but awesome brakes.
  10. So because it's a grey area, lets screw the consumer.
  11. Didn't say it would be easy but is a reasonable fee 100%?
  12. I was listening to Advocate Neville Mellville speaking about the CPA on 702 the other night and given the circumstances of your wife's injuries, I'm sure there refusal to refund falls foul of the Consumer Protection Act. I would take the matter up with relevant authorities.
  13. Actually now that you mention it, I'll have to check mine. I haven't touched it in over 18 months since I bought.
  14. Tall skinny Swedes with big racks will be at Farma Sutra, living the Swedish dream.
  15. Yes, there are ablution facilities on site but with the influx that weekend, these will prove inadequate, so, additional ablution facilities will be laid on. There is a small dam on the property, so if you prefer to bathe/shower in that...... Festivities will take place at the camping site which is on location. The beauty of that is once you turn your ignition key off, the only time it will be turned on again is when you leave. edit: I see Sliiiick beat me to it.
  16. Looking forward to this.
  17. Have to concur. A once in a lifetime opportunity to ride trails that are closed to the general public.

    Africa Cycle Fair

I enjoyed the Fair and thought the R60 entrance was well worth it. Certainly didn't miss the bigger brands and it was great that the smaller (boutique) bike brands were well represented. Great to see Pyga, Contraband, Yeti, Santa Cruz, Hunter Cycling & International Trade.
  19. Closing date for entries to get the limited edition T-Shirt is 31 October!
  20. I wish someone offered aftermarket Rudy Project replacement lenses.
  21. Anything of that invaluable advice you'd like to share with a novice?
  22. It was finished a couple of Sunday's ago and survived the first flood waters last weekend. The Chief fairy was instrumental in its construction but I believe there will be a supporting rod welded to the middle of the bridge as additional support. Picture taken like this to protect the identities of those involved.
  23. This will be my first Magoebaskloof Classic and I'll be doing it on my SS. Going to be using a very friendly climbing gear.
  24. Thanks for the profiles BarHugger, they'll be needed to prepare myself for next weekends race.
  25. A mate convinced me, so I entered about 3 weeks ago and have already bought my plane ticket.
