Used to be called the Points cover on the vintage Meriden Triumphs but now known as the ACG. What ACG stands for (in relation to Triumph), I have no idea.

Was looking through the papers I received with the bike last night and came across an invoice for a radiator guard. S'true as Bob, I have an aluminium radiator guard. One less item to purchase! Just placed an order for the following from the UK: - Union Jack points cover - Union Jack throttle body covers - Union Jack clutch badge. Lets see if they arrive before Christmas.

A couple of more photos: Extras that have already been added or changed on the bike are: - rear fender elimination kit (I do have the original rear fender) - Sump guard - Flyscreen' - Indicator lenses changed to white Items planned are: - Cat delete and fitting of an X-Pipe - Double seat and rear passenger pegs - Cone Engineering shorty slip-on exhausts. Also seriously thinking of changing the colour to either Competition Green or Diablo Red.

So I got rid of my last bike (Triumph Sprint RS 955i) probably 12/13 years ago and I now have an itch to get back on another Triumph. Looking at the Thruxton 1200R

Can recommend Komoot for GPS navigation. It worked well for me at Silk Road. Will be using it in conjunction with my Etrex at the Freedom Circuit next year.

I started watching 46Works build thread on YouTube where he rebuilds a BMW R100RS into a Cafe Racer. The amount of custom parts he has fabricated for this rebuild is amazing . A really talented oke. Can weld, fabricate, spraypaint, machine, rebuild and also knows how to use an English Wheel!

Judging by the lack of comments to your thread Shebeen, there's no interest in Bikepacking on this Forum. We'll just have to enjoy the occasional threads that pop up once in a while. Thanks for the FB link, wasn't aware that there was a local FB page.

Interestingly, my Navara has a similar issue. There is however on the removable section, a captive nut with a corresponding hole in the outer section, so when I next go to the hardware store I just need to get a big enough bolt, to fasten everything together.
