An important game for us tonight, only unrealistic chance of silverware. Football is a funny game though, so we'll see.
  2. Any idea of pricing and will the frame be available separately? I have an epic ride planned in August and might be looking for a new bike (or frame).
  3. I've now been 5 years cancer free! Had 2 ops in March 2016, literally 3 months before Race to Rhodes. Must admit it did cause a bit of havoc with my preparation.

My gf pays the subscription and I stream the app, except she's no moved in, so will have to get the decoder hooked up.
  5. What other fork options are available for your frame? I'm thinking more along the lines of bikepacking
  6. For that price, I'd rather have a proper engine between my legs!
  7. Apart from the issue that occurred out of ORT, there was also the issue of the noise levels either leaving or flying into Belgium. It appears the the pilots exceeded the noise levels and that the Belgium authorities have now banned the crew and requested all their training records.

I remember watching him play in that great Leeds team of the early 70’s.
  9. Thanks Ben.

As a born and bred Scouser anything I'll try and say to excuse Liverpool's poor performance this season will generally sound like an excuse. One must however remember, both City and Chelsea have super rich backers who throw money at a problem and that's why they have strength in depth. Although FSG saved Liverpool from being declared bankrupt 6/7 years ago, for which we are all thankful, all it is to them is a business. We have a strong 1st team when everyone is fit but otherwise the purse strings are held extremely tightly and it results in JK trying to put square pegs into round holes. Witness our 2 best midfielders playing at centre-back. When the situation turns critical (Matip being ruled out for the season), they then give JK peanuts to spend. Compare our net outlay over the years with all the team around us and you then realise how we have exceeded expectations. We've been very fortunate that Michael Edwards has managed to make some very astute signings and then JK has worked his magic with them. After two incredible seasons, something has to break somewhere along the line and unfortunately, it has this season. But we'll be back next year!
  11. Here's that photo I promised.

  13. Driving up Sandton Drive this morning, there looks to what appears to be an old Mirage stuck onto the roof of a small building. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo but it didn't look like a mock-up of any sorts. I'll see if I can get a photo on my way home this evening.
  14. Absolute Black 30t Oval delivered this a.m. Bike now ready, just have to decide how much singlespeed riding I want to do over the next 4/5 months before conversion to a 1x11.
  15. I have an Alpkit Soloist but it’s a 3 season tent. Nice and lightweight.
  16. 11-50 cassette delivered this morning. 30t Oval on its way.
  17. Looking for replacement hoods for Shimano Ultegra ST-6600.
  18. I have had one on my Surly for over 2 years and love it.
  19. I'm taking my Karate Monkey with me to Kyrgyzstan later this year. Planning on putting a 1x11 drivetrain on with a 30t Oval upfront and a 11-46 on the rear.
  20. I rode that route last Friday afternoon. An enjoyable route.
  21. I just read that the ILS (Instrument Landing System) at ORT is off due to the calibration having expired. CAA haven't replaced the calibration aircraft that crashed a couple of months ago. Could be a disaster waiting to happen.
  22. Maybe not necessary to purchase a complete standard groupset. Ideally you want a large gear range, so have a read through this article https://bikepacking.com/gear/guide-to-mullet-drivetrains/ And https://bikepacking.com/index/wide-range-cassettes/
  23. I managed to order and pay for probably the last Wahoo Snap 2 before the price went up by 25%. Still waiting for delivery though, which I'll start worrying about a couple of weeks after we move to Stage 3.
  24. Now and again [emoji16]
