  1. Purchased the Elite Suito and a Ant+ USB dongle.
  2. I suppose that they are all pretty much of the same although the Core with it's local backup does have the edge.
  3. The online store pre-sold without confirming with the supplier and I got tired of waiting. If I'm going to get a smart IDT, I might as well do it properly.
  4. So the Snap 2 didn't work out so now I'm looking at a wheel - off trainer. Wahoo Kickr Core Elite Suito Tacx Flux S They all have their pros and cons but I can't make my mind up. I wouldn't use the 11 spd cassette on the Suito, so that isn't really a pro for the Suito. Recommendations?
  5. My condolences to the family and his friends.
  6. We normally park there and then ride the Cradle loop. Coffee break halfway at Bidon and a Chicken Pie to finish off. If you do park there and you can, lock away your racks.
  7. My Thule aerobars with 2 x Pro ride 598's were stolen off my double cab this morning at the Home of the Chicken Pie. Aerobars were locked and the fu**ers jimmied them off the DC's roof bars.
  8. It has been, all well this side. Yourself?
  9. I'm running full GX on my Rocket with a Sunrace cassette on a Hope hub.
  10. Downloaded Rouvy onto my laptop and my Suunto HRM was recognized via Bluetooth. So just a cadence sensor to get.
  11. Thanks. I'm not too concerned about the stand, mat etc, but more about the HRM. I guess I'll have to see what does or doesn't work and take it from there.
  12. I should receive my Snap 2 within the next couple of weeks and want to know what other hardware I require. Currently have: Laptop - HP Pavilion i5 Win10 (with built in bluetooth) Suunto Smart sensor heart rate belt Will my Suunto HR belt work or do I need to purchase the Wahoo Tickr Belt? Will the built-in bluetooth on the laptop connect to the Snap2 or do I need to buy a USB Ant+ dongle
  13. Maybe not necessary to purchase a complete standard groupset. Ideally you want a large gear range, so have a read through this article https://bikepacking.com/gear/guide-to-mullet-drivetrains/ And https://bikepacking.com/index/wide-range-cassettes/
  14. I managed to order and pay for probably the last Wahoo Snap 2 before the price went up by 25%. Still waiting for delivery though, which I'll start worrying about a couple of weeks after we move to Stage 3.
  15. My collection. 1 x Surly 2 x Cotics

  18. I remember meeting Barry at a mine dump ride he organised for Hubbers many years and we've interacted on many occasions since on various forms of social media. We also shared a birthday. The world will be a poorer place. Rest in Peace my friend.

  21. What a brilliant 20k run this morning through Avianto and Phambili (my garmin measured 20.6). Really lekker route which was well marked. Predominantly all single track with a very small section next to the tar connecting the two venues.
  22. Come to Avianto on Sunday
  23. Can a user design be made or are you limited to your current designs?
  24. What's the heel / toe drop on them?
  25. I streamed the Sunderland v Liverpool game this afternoon and although not HD quality I had a pretty darn good stream throughout the match. Used: http://www.sportingvideo.tv/
