Just phoned Racetec, the seeding will be sent out today, cannot confirm a time at all.

I'm gonna park @ Paarl Mall and cycle in. Only a short ride from the finish to the mall. No traffic stress to get home again.

Not a PPA race, so Racetec seeding will be used. Will have to wait for the seeding to come out.

Why, if I may ask? They are under no obligation to "pay back the money / subsidize" any other races. If they do, it is only a gesture of goodwill. (although I hope they do)

There is now reports that the FB post regarding the 99'er discounts was /is a hoax.

We're still waiting for our SCT "discount" mails to come through. To my ears (and wallet) R180.00 sounds a lot better than R360.00 .... ​ It now seems that the Facebook Post regarding the discount was a hoax.

Would be interesting to see what they are going to do re. the "lost" entry fees. Give discount for the next years race like they did with CTCT, stage another race where you can transfer your entry fees, or what?

Is that not the annual "Bokradio" cruise to Swakob or somewhere that is still stuck in the harbour? If it is, what a bummer. (and then you get guys who moans about cycle races which get cancelled)

I WISH!!!! There is a few other, "more important" (yeah right, that's what the wife says ) things to do that supersedes chasing after my misspent youth.

On my commute yesterday morning, a chap came past me on a 350YPVS with some spannies on it. (White and blue custom sprayjob) Boy, did it sound so good when he gave it a bit of beans from the traffic light, with the sweet scent of 2stroke wafting behind him. Man, was I jealous of him.

Pity. I joined the party quite late, but quite enjoyed the few events I did.
