  1. Uncalled for.
  2. Pressed "ACCEPT" with great urgency, also substantially more than I normally get. Now I wait for the funds to show, so I can send my .308 in to have the long desired silencer/suppressor fitted.
  3. I'll be using only the shortest leaf, should provide the best amount of sway(leaf springs can be separated, will be using the hole in the middle to mount it to my frame)
  4. Busy working on my own design, that will allow side to side "sway" and then forward and backword motion. I'm thinking of fitting a small leaf spring (from a "Venter" trailer) directly under the trainer and back wheel of the bike, to allow the sway that is necessary. For the forward and backward motion I also have a design in mind, must just find a competent welder to help me build my tracks. All the contact and movement points will be mounted on small bearings, in order to make it more durable. It will be a full length base, and have a built in riser block for the front wheel. I'm designing it to work with my Saris M2 trainer. Any obvious flaws you guys can see?

What a qualifying session today. BB33 impressed, MM93 showed that he is planning to rule the roost again this year, Vinales showed some promise, Quartararo showed some decent early pace. It looks like this is going to be a humdinger of a year.
  6. I believe one of the savages got robbed of his bike in Claremont this morning. He stopped at a red Traffic light and two scumbags stepped off the sidewalk, knifes in hand, and robbed him of his bike. He beat a hasty retreat, but they still chased him for a few meters to try and get his phone. He got away unscathed, minus his Cannondale Supersix Evo. Moral of the story: Don't stop at red traffic lights, lest you get mugged.
  7. Nope, not for me.
  8. Me likey too......
  9. 'm also in the process of designing a Rocker Plate, with integrated (but removeable) Computer/Tablet stand. A friend is helping me, he's busy with the technical drawings as we speak. Trying to keep it uncomplicated. Got a few good ideas going.
  10. Yeah, you could have had our bunch in charge.
  11. Luckily taste do differ.
  12. Happened on this while browsing. Should I ever win the Lotto, this will be standing in my garage, for sure. RD350LC bodywork on the yummy XSR900 triple. Company called Velocity-Moto.com out of the UK does it. You can get the kit and install it yourself, or send your bike to them to do.
  13. That is a blast from the past. Now that's Hens teeth.
  14. Not a huge Porsche fan, but this I'll gladly park in my garage.
  15. I finally received my Saris M2 on Monday afternoon. Due to work pressure I only managed to get it fully set up, synced and calibrated yesterday afternoon. Did two short sessions, and my first impressions with the Rouvy app, is that is an almost real life experience, and damn hard work to boot.
  16. Nah, on purpose.
  17. You missed me (don't worry, it happens often) Member 87. Joined 15 Dec 2004 edit: corrected date.
  18. Marsie turned out a beautiful specimen.
  19. Sorry to hear of your loss, Gemmerbal. Difficult as it may be, it is our duty to relieve them of constant pain and suffering. Never nice though.
  20. Same here. Then my 1991 TZR250 3MA Then my custom 1980 XS Eleven Special.
  21. So glad that I placed an order and paid a deposit, for a wheel on smart trainer just as the lockdown hit. My supplier (LBS) has vowed to supply it to me for the price at the time I ordered, rather than the new post lockdown price. (about 5k difference) Therefore I will wait for my unit, albeit not very patiently, as I'm chomping at the bit to try this smart trainer experience. (not even owned a dumb trainer / IDT in my life before) I just hope our parole conditions is relaxed a bit, so that "my" unit can be delivered and the training can commence. PLEASE UNCLE CYRIL.........
  22. Ag no, sorry Myles. It's so sad when you loose an otherwise healthy animal under such circumstance. Strongs there.
  23. I'm quite lucky, staying right at the end in a cul de sac. None of my neighbors has got small dogs, so they keep theirs in their yards 24/7. As a result I can let my two pups run around for a few minutes a time, all while I'm staying in my yard (no fence in front, so as long as I stay on the grass, I'm in my yard ) This keeps them exercised and stop the boredom a bit.
  24. Sorry for your loss BigDL, but it is always better to set the free from their pain and suffering. It doesn't make it easier, though.
  25. Was it disconnected from other Provinces also, or just the Western Cape? My logic tells me if it's in arrears in the WC, it will be in arrears in all the provinces. Or am I being retarded with this train of thought?
