  3. Saddle clamp bolt snapped and i had to cycle just over 10km back home looking like one of those cool BMXers with my knees slapping against my ears.

  5. ? Dingle Berries are tasteless. How do you know??? Isn?t it obvious?
  6. This thread sucks.
  7. They used these in this years TDF.. most awesome bike, just needs a FIZIK K1 ARIONE saddle.
  8. Looks like im the only one hoping that Andy takes it?
  9. The fastest way i can think of to teach yourself how to do a manual is.. Pull up on your bike like you would normally do a wheelie or in other words get your front wheel up as high as you can without flipping over. Now this is the part where you should trust your rear breaks, while your front wheel is up and it feels like your going to fall on your back apply the rear brake with your finger to control that you dont flip over, do not over apply the brake otherwhise you would flip forwards and be on 2 wheels again.
  10. Are you talking about Wheelie or Manual i can wheelie for more or less 200m and manual without pedaling for 10m. I find it really hard to wheelie around corners and in circles.
  11. Give both the same bike and gear and let them challenge each other up Alpe d'Huez.
  12. I had the same problem for years, its the most annoying sound ever. I had the squeeks on those big Look cleats. It was fixed when i placed a piece of innertube(cut to the size of the cleat) between my shoe and the cleat.
  13. I have a similar saddle to the WTB rocket V on my MTB. I think it?s totally cr#p for long rides. The design of the saddle isn?t any good. The ride on the saddle for me is really uncomfortable. I currently ride a Selle Italia SLR XP on my road bike. It?s made from carbon fiber with a thin leather/foam cushion over it. When you press hard on the saddle with your thumb you can see it flex which is good. I would recommend it to anyone. You can get them anything from R1100 maybe even cheaper, if seen the same saddle sell on the hub for R600 new. http://autobus.cyclingnews.com/photos/2006/tech/reviews/cervelo_soloist_carbon/cervelo_soloist_carbon23.jpg
  14. Speaking of which' date=' I had Christian Death - Jesus Points The Bone At You on the ipod on the way into work this morning.I'll leave that whole disc as my song for today.[/quote'] The 69 Eyes is an awesome band.
  15. I'll see what i can do to get you his number.
  16. It depends on your amount of riding.. i only ride my bike weekends, during the week its running/gym/spinning. I always clean my road bike the night before a race and then it stays clean through out the rest of my weekends on the road until the next night before a race. If i rode in the rain or through water on the road i would clean it off after. My mtb.. cant really be bothered cleaning that, it looks better dirty anyways. I Just hose off and re-lube. I'm a roadie, that's probably why i don't care/clean it like i do with my road bike.
  17. Well atleast you get some proof of your racing even if the quality issn't so good. Some of the smaller races dont even give medals. Or you get this piece of crap that says "bla bla 2007" and at the bottom it says something like "25km / 53km / 73km" but you rode the 90km.
  18. My mtb crank is 175mm.
  19. I rode on 170mm crank for about 6 years, recently upgraded to 172.5mm.. wow big difference. Climbing is much easier, my cadence is even higher now that im fitter and i can push bigger gear. Sprinters normally go for the 170 / 172.5mm cranks and climbers more for the 172.5 / 175mm.
  20. You have to look at these 3 ratio's; Weight, Price, Strength. You need to find a balance between the 3 in order to buy the best for your budget. For me the most important aspect of a bike is its Wheel set, then comes the Groupset and then the frame.. then all the other bits and pieces of your choice. With the seatpost.. steel, alu , carbon you wont even notice the difference. With the handle bars you the only difference you will feel is the stiffeness. Because something is carbon doesn't mean its necessarily light. My alu bike weigh less than my friends carbon.
  21. Turn it to ensure that any other punctures you missed gets sealed aswell.
  22. It leaked so much because there was a broken off thorn that went inside the tire and got stuck in the tube, the thorn prevented the slime from sealing. After ive took the tube out and pulled out the thorn it sealed. I had 7 punctures on the read wheel and 2 on the front.
