I did the beach thing but I think I set it to zero for some other co-ordinates and not where I was actually standing as that when it all went horribly wrong? I see the manual says you can add an elevation point, so will try add my house and set at 17m which is roughly what it should be.

so......my house is like 170m below sea level..... are there some preset co-ordinate points and altitudes that I can manually update in my unit to get the readings correct again, thanks for any advice....

I don't think they should base international racing on local events, its just so different. Hey, at least Neethling was racing elite, she's still U23, clearly wanting to up her game......that's cool. I rememember Greg Miller raced elite when he was final year Junior at all the WP xc races.....

That must be true 'cos as a junior he was untouchable then he kinda faded as a U23, next Nino for sure. I juts doen't understand where the development is, Neethling goes to Olympics, comes last but gets valuable experience but then they send someone else to CWG, bet they send someone new to Rio.......

UCI rankings are grossly misleading, in this case case Cooper is U23 so doesn't earn as many points as an elite and Buys earns his points from winning local SA races which are UCI sanctioned.
