I had a look at the list on CSA and seem to be a small community of coaches in SA level 1 through 3. A little dissapointing would have thought more would be involved in development. @J Wakefield i see you on the list level 2 all good was not giving you a hard time about the level 4 thing.

Yep but it looks good for business when your nearest and only competition has a level 3

Yes he would be free to coach but not under CSA. Does he still keep the UCI level 4 qualification or does it fall away with the ban? His sponsors have not reacted to the ban and he is still listed as an ambassador on sponsors sites. So I am guessing it will be business as usual in 6 months.

All the specs I see list as Novatec so I don't know if this was a local supply swap issue.

Novatec are quick and easy to maintain parts are somewhat available from Cape Cycles but you shouldn't really need replacement parts apart from sealed bearings. They are lighter, sounds good and should last a very long time if looked after. SLX probably also have a plus but I have scrapped 2 rear hubs due to the hexbolt seized in the back of the freehub and other was no Freehub availability older shimano Freehubs are not the greatest . My opinion.

The model should be on the inside of the seat tube. 600s are 26er, 700s are 27.5 and 900 are 29er. Looks like 2017 scott 960.

Hose in most cases has an outer diameter (OD) of 5.0mm and internal diameter (ID) of 2.1mm The XT's use the BH90 hose, which has an OD of 5.0mm and ID of 2.1mm. The RS785s use the BH59 hose with OD 5.0mm and 2.5mm ID (I think? can't find this answer, just know it's slightly larger than the BH90), however many have reported using the BH90s without issue. The only deviation I can find are Tektro and Hayes brakes that use hoses with 5.5mm OD and 2.5mm ID

Your destination is a cycling mecca so I am sure they could have her setup and sorted in no time. If you were meeting with friends or family maybe they can get info on local bike shops and or look online see what stock is available. Take an old Raleigh Rc rolling chassis with you on the plane and bring back a New SL8

Sorry but this really sux. Plus side it solved the cracked wheel problem. Financial and insurance allowing would it be an option to replace the bikes in France or Italy? Ride them and ship back as you had planned might get a good deal on a high-end bike without all the duties and local markups.

A bit heavier would imply that more carbon is used in that area of the repair. I would think that the balance would be out affecting stability at speed.

The superglue is just to hold the repair/paperclip in place till carbon it applied If you scuff the carbon side of the derailleur then the new carbon will adhere to the old. Find the paperclip adds internal strength and a solid mount on the non carbon side at the main bolt.
