    Wise move on getting Cycle Lab to do a price match. Can't say Sportsmans would be the best place for a service or warranty clame should you require it.

    I spoke to the local rep and they have stock. Your LBS should be able to order but most are reluctent due to expensive price per volume popularity etc. Anyway i had him deliver me 2 tubs if you need R200 a tub ex shipping from JHB.

    Mayby try contacting Squirt directly in Knysna. If they can't supply you direct then they can point you to a shop in your area they can order for you.

    A professional welder could probably weld it small spot welds close hole slowly heat and cool with cold wet cloth over the join. Drill and tap new thread.

    Yea i kow how you feel. It is like we are under siege in Centurion. I don't venture out west over the R55 anymore i find the family and i end up doing a neighborhood loops.

    Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for the group of gunmen that have been targeting cyclists in the Irene/ Big red barn area. Hope he rolls on his mates and all 5 of them get nailed.

    The Mavic wheels would be unique to that bike together with 1 randome white headset spacer amongst the black with silver brake shoes on black calipers. The bottle cages are a match so yea same bike.

    Ok so NW chainring on the outside and maybe a few mm shorter BB axle. If the rear derailleur is a non clutch on a 1x10 then you will get chan whip and the chain jumping off infront.

    You could also look at an XT derailleur that has a clutch. Alivio 1x10 will still jump off when going gets tough even with a NW chainring.

    I try to support the little guys as much as possible but i always stop at Cycle Lab if out that way and end up spending more than i should. The reward system is good especially the member deals on products like High5. Last was like R300 off High5 ended up paying R100 for 2 tubes.

    Most high-end Mountain bikes are hand made. Carbon layups and tech add to the cost. Motor bikes are for the most part assembled by robot on a production line thus volume/ labour etc bringing down the costs.

    Maybe a drop of mineral oil on the inner rubber freehub seal and on the bushes.
