Are blue signs a no go and green is fine to ride on? Or is it the little freeway sign that one should look for? .N14 is all blue from PTA to the Beyers then signage is green so it goes from Freeway to Highway at Beyers.

This would seem to contradict things . I have been stopped on the N4 a few times by Metro police and told to get off the road or i will get a fine.

Most cycle tour organizers make application to use routs and get permission together with roacd closure/ Metro police etc.

N14 is a National freeway so illegal to ride a bicycle.

That is a non spare from Thule and requires a new arm. What you could try is wrap Gorilla tape on the bar at the point where it clamps or melt some cable ties into the clamp with a solder iron and file it out so it fits tight again

If it is the rounded edges that is a problem. Strip the axle take a needle file and make it square again.

Turn frame upside-down and over a few days spray penetrative oil into the seat tube through a bottle cage hole or at the BB let it soak then clamp the seatpost in a vice then pour boiling water over the frame at the seat/top tube lug while twisting the frame small gentle movements side to side.

Yea I haven't had them make the arrangements often. But they do ask can you PUDO or Postnet etc and I agree. My opinion is they request that option so they should take the risk using that option regardless if I fill in the waybill and ship the item. If they ask can ship and who do I prefer or use then my suggestion it's on me.

Would it not depend on the courier arrangements? If the seller arranges the courier then he has committed to have your goods delivered but if the buyer sorted for the courier then it is the buyers agent and you as seller have done your bit by boxing and handling over to the buyers agent/courier.

I installed them previously on a Venter but sold may years back. I fitted the gutter to the complete rack and put in place on the trailer lid using blocks wood etc to find the correct spot. Then marked each hole on the lid with marker and drilled. I found the washer on the inside to be a little flimsy and worried that the thin gauge steel lid would rip under load so I riveted some 3mm 200x200 plate to the mounting points inside the lid.
