  1. Apparently this was reported to admin but no response received. Snip: BTW I also reported this individual to admin (but have not received any kind of confirmation or reply)...
  2. Hopefully, @Zaheer malik from Wadee Cycles will please explain why he takes Hubber's money, sends fake PUDO details, and then ghosts the buyer. I also hope the buyer receives his correct goods delivered for free or a full refund, including his postage already spent.
  3. These are some impressive skills demonstrated by Kaden Groves.
  4. Yes, while naming and shaming can occasionally go south, many buyer-seller issues have been resolved in the forums. My deciding factor would be that after numerous attempts to resolve the issue, the seller proceeded to send a fake PUDO waybill instead of simply saying, "Sorry, I messed up, and I will refund you."
  5. You might as well just name them, since it's obvious from your ratings who the culprit is.
  6. The shifter looks like a 4700 so maybe try Richie. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/shifters/595808/tiagra-10-speed-4700-nameplates
  7. Cyclelab are the importer/distributor. MoreCorp is Cyclelab.
  8. UCI Rules on Associations with Banned Individuals Pdf.pdf
  9. Marginal gains.
  10. Would this light add 50 watts to the bike, or would it take 50 watts away?
  11. As stated by @sias contact CSA, they can confirm or deny your suspicion better than a public forum. Whether or not a list is published, CSA holds the information you seek, so contact them and make your judgment from there.
  12. I am trying to hold my tongue, and yes, I do understand that even you, as the chair, have your challenges and your hands are tied to some degree. As for money and subscriptions, CSA has little to show for it. How much did CSA contribute to Juan Spies going to the Olympics, or did his GoFundMe cover the costs? How many serviceable tracks do we have in Hectanoris, Plidich, or Krugersdorp? Ha, ha, I suppose this is a municipal problem. When was the last time CSA covered any costs for a cyclist going to the championships? As I said, I understand that a few good individuals get recognition, but as an outsider looking in, it seems like a non-viable entity.
  13. The CSA does not govern everyday life and cannot prevent an individual from participating in cycling activities that are not sanctioned or regulated by the CSA or UCI; they would need a court order to enforce such a restriction.
  14. This thread is probably a bit to old but still the individual was sanctioned https://forum.bikehub.co.za/topic/181457-another-doping-violation-rickardo-broxham/
  15. The old Sora 8-speed shifters are generally solid but can become a bit sticky over time as the grease hardens and dirt builds up. You might try breathing new life into them by flushing them with boiling water and plenty of WD-40, along with replacing the inner and outer cables.A good cleaning should result in a crisper and smoother shift.
  16. I suppose many e-bikers are wondering if this system will be compatible with the SRAM Booty Link 2.0. Imagine having wireless shifting, a range extender, and eliminating the cockpit clutter on your old cable-operated e-bike.
  17. As far as I know, this lever is not sold as a spare part from Thule. I had the smaller gray lever beneath the main lever replaced by Thule, but they used a second-hand part from a scrap warranty rack.
  18. If you don't get sorted and you are in the Centurion area then i have a spair that you are welcome to take.
  19. For the R360 at Cycle Lab, it might be worthwhile to replace both the plates and the cleats at the same time, and then keep one of the old plates in the parts bin.
  20. If you remove the inners, you should see a cutout in the cardboard sole, sometimes just an outline. Use a Stanley knife to cut along this outline until the flap lifts, allowing you to remove the plate.
  21. Try visiting your local Specialized store. The S-Works shoes should have a lifetime warranty on that part; I had Boa systems swapped on older shoes, and I was informed that the S-Works have a lifetime warranty. Additionally, original Shimano cleats should come with that part included in the box.

  23. There are a few people in South Africa who can weld titanium. My father, who has been in the aircraft industry for 70 years, started at Air Rhodesia as a welder and then moved to Atlas Aircraft as a welding instructor. He spent 25 years in Canada training welders in the aircraft industry. Later, he started a business building AC Cobras and training others in welding high-end titanium exhausts. Long story short, he retired to Cape Town and still keeps his welding licenses up to date, but it's just a hobby for him now.
