Well this kinda depends ont the airline that you are flying but you can check bike/ frame in as special luggage for a small haddling fee. It normally round R500. Then when it comes to VAT, when you buying your bike ask them to fill out a vat returns form, then when you leave Italy get it stamped at the airport. You then send that form back when you get home and few weeks later they send you a check in the post for the VAT you paid in the Italy look up on the web for complete instuction for italy. Declair it here, Incase something goes wrong, you will have to pay Local Vat but there no duties on bikes.

Well heres the thing, i was out on a training ride and my crank just cracked. Its 20months old and has a 2 year warrenty, never crashed on it and looks good. Now they tell me that it is not under warrenty cause i have used it in competition in the past. Would you say its normal??? Ive had whole cracked frames replace no questions asked in the past.

not insurance, if there is defective in materials and/or workmanship do most products still cover the warrenty if the product is used in competition?

Would like to know if most products you buy cover you for competition.
