To the 3 people cycling down Jan Smuts this morning.. (In fact I saw you twice, you must have turned around near zoo lake.) It was 7:30. its not early. That's peak taxi commute time, you are not alone on the road. You don't need to take up a whole lane riding 3 abreast, especially when there is only one lane going each way. It's a main, busy road. Be more aware and perhaps, dare I suggest, more considerate. Red lights mean stop. RED LIGHTS ESPECIALLY MEAN STOP FOR THE STUPID IDIOT DRIVING YOUR SAFETY CAR. What the *@#& is wrong with you people.

I missed the race (yesterday I think) but Jakob ran 12:48 in the 5,000m. MEGA blitz time. And beat Joshua (6th...). Equally, or probably more exciting is the Hassan / Kipyegon battle. Wow they;re producing some stupendous runs.

Adding to this - I've just read Durban CBD was shut down today because an old man, armed, ex SANDF, whom was also thought to have been strapped with explosives, stormed the govt employees pension fund building, demanding his pension pittance. Now I understand this is a cycling forum, and people like talking about woodwork and TV shows, but I like talking (and reading) about news, and whats happening in the world. So as much as I have really enjoyed getting to know the various characters behind this small community, I honestly don't see this new forum featuring much in my future, despite my best intentions.

What about unit trusts or shares or something like that? She doesn't really need the 'safety' of interest rate accounts, and can maybe afford to take a chance on the markets, longer term. I'm sure there are tax-free ETF accounts too if you still want to go that way.

You're not wrong. Why would they choose a Canadian bike? There are some stunning Italians which would wear a verde mantis suit so well. Wilier, De Rosa, Cinelli, (the 3 big ones can prob take a break.) and then 3T can be the Urus..

This is the only forum I've ever signed up on. Its a weird thing being a part of. Vigorously agreeing with some while also being vehemently repelled by other people/posts, regardless - it always has a tab open on my browser. I've read about mybroadband and 4x4 a lot on the hub, so I may investigate those. Or wait to see what other options to come up here. Or maybe I can do without a 'second hub', who knows.
