  1. The biltong is great, the bites/sticks (?) I forget the name now, difficult to come by, but are absolutely delicious.
  2. Have you tried the impossible burger patty yet? I suspect its a little different by virtue of being in fast food type small burgers but I'm just interested if they're on par with beyond.
  3. Saw the mince for the first time the other day, will look out for the other products, and give them a go.

Good grief, on his second attempt even. The kid sure is special. https://twitter.com/ChrisChavez/status/1306657695181803524?s=19
  5. Midmar up to Nottingham Road
  6. We always have it on the radar. It's just a bit out the way though. We'll have to see closer to the time if everything aligns.
  7. Not bad. Not amazing.
  8. *Clicks to read about Evobikes.. Google says: I'll put a Bikemob banner on top of the article page.. Haha
  9. One day I'll splurge on a bottle of their Badenhorst Family Red, but until then the Secateurs Cinsault Red must be one of the best value buys I've found. A hundred bucks and absolutely delicious.
  10. Wine critic Tim Atkins (from the article sounds highly regarded) gave 2 South African wines perfect 100 scores the other day. 2018 Porseleinberg syrah from the Swartland, and the 2019 Sadie Family Skurfberg chenin blanc from Olifants River. Anyone heard or tried them? I only know of Sadie Family wines, tried one or two reds, very good, but prohibitly expensive.
  11. Trish Eksteen, lady from Durbs, just set the womans world record for consecutive half marathons run - 75 halfs in 75 days! Looks like shes aiming for 100.
  12. Tell you what, I saw a thousand of their tops on Sunday around the cradle so its nice that the local brand is picking up momentum.
  13. Interesting team choice.

    Sweet baby...
  15. I know right, the crew seems to be getting younger and younger. I mean Verstappen was barely out of nappies when he started
  16. This kids legit. I'm usually disappointed he doesn't do better
  17. After a hellish exciting TdF stage I turned to expect to see Lewis et al standing moping on the podium... but good grief I was met with a momentous final few laps. I honestly could not believe my eyes at the running order! (well except for the fact that Vettel was out, thats standard procedure) Whats a stunning podium, and how great to see such unbridled joy in winning a race.
  18. Hermanuspietersfontein Skoonma - a very agreeable shiraz with some TDF fireworks
  19. Also, I need to find replays of the hour runs from (must have been) last night. Looks like fireworks out of there too
  20. I've just switched on in time to see the prize giving at the Prague 21km. The guys winner 58:38, which is only 30 secs off the world record. The ladies winner ran 1:05:34, which as far as I can tell is a min slower than the record, but she has a big cardboard thing at her feet saying new WR with her time. Strange. Must be under a different catagory or something. Either way those are super blitz times from both.
  21. I was about to write 345km/h is pretty brisk, but then I looked up max speed here last year.... 359!
  22. https://www.scmp.com/news/asia/east-asia/article/3100029/cargo-ship-dozens-crew-and-almost-6000-cattle-feared-capsized Typhoon Maysak: cargo ship with dozens of crew and almost 6,000 cattle feared capsized near Japan It seems a lot, then you realise 6000 is only 3/4 of 1 percent that's killed every day. Tough way to go. Edit: with headline
  23. If anyone here follows Naomi Brand and Xavier on whatever social media, they have been running around the Munros too, pics and videos are cool, but looks tough. And cold. And wet...
  24. Thats the second review I've seen where the Endorphin Speed was preferred over the Pro. And I really do hope I get to try the Alphafly some time in my life. They just look so mental.
  25. I'd rather have had them brand it as a separate event I think. Keep the 'Karkloof 100 miler' separate, keep that specific buckle separate. Rather - call it a showcase for pro's to really crush a 100 mile race in a 'day', and then a multi-day event for plebs to run around in circles. Make 3 or 4 new medals for distance or time or whatever goal. I also hope it shows them/every other organiser how easy (granted I have no idea if thats true) it is to put on a looped race which can add up to some cool distances. I like the idea, it seems a slightly different challenge mentally.
