Hi there Starting working in the woodmead area at the start of the year. I live in Benoni. Anyone out there commute from benoni to woodmead on the bike? What is the best route and quietest route from Benoni to Woodmead? I was thinking of going through Kempton, past Modderfontein, Greenstone, cutting through Linbro, coming out by Malbora, and then going up and over the pedestrian bridge that goes over the M1 onto the Western service road that runs parrallel to the M1? Anyone know of a better route? Would like to give it a try tomorrow? Thanks

Planning on racing the first lap hard in A batch. I then want to do a second loop with some friends and help them through. If I wear the chip, my first lap results are going to be lost and over-written. How do you solve this problem if you have to wear a chip? Not doing a double for any charity or anything and I am seeded in A batch. just want to help a few friends on the second loop. Any suggestions....

Completed my first Berg and bush this past weekend and it was awesome! Definitely going back next year and taking the family next year as it is a very family friendly stage race! Just wondering, I finished quite early yesterday in A batch but was wondering if anybody got a medal? I like my medals in the sport and was wondering if I missed mine? Cheers

170km ride on Saturday stating at 5am with the temperature reaching minus 7 at one point. Ride included a loop of suikerbosrand. Followed this by a 90km ride on Sunday... To date nearly 7000kms completed as training this year for the transbaviaans! Both myself and partner in decent shape at the moment and looking forward to the race!

Oh ye, did I mention it hit minus 8 degrees on the way there

Yes it's open. Just got back from a 170km ride there today. Rode from benoni did a loop and back again. Amazing place to ride!!! So many animals close to the road as well

So as final confirmation is the suikerbosrand reserve open tomorrow? We have planned a massive ride and don't want to ride all the way there and it is closed.... Assuming it opens at 7am Tried phoning but no answer

We are riding from benoni to suikerbosrand, a loop around and back again. Awesome 160km route planned for Saturday! Whoop whoop!!!!
