    The problem is that local distributors does not believe in 26" at all. A few were also caught off-guard by the mass-migration to 29" and simply cleared their stock eventually. A conversation I had with a prominent tyre distributor went as follows: " No there is only a PERCEIVED demand for 26", That was a reply when I asked him to order FIFTY 26" tires only on his next order...

    True of 26 but we order a LARGE QTY of 26er components in for customers nowadays. Particularly tyres!!

    Not sure I would agree... Put local to the test first. We use CRC as a benchmark before we stock any product and 9 out of 10 times we are cheaper. CRC's advantage is displaying prices ex VAT...
