  5. Have it on good authority that Spez won't be bringing out ANY 26" bikes except a carbon dual in 2013...
  6. I have been using them in the wet Cape winter and found them to have awesome grip... The rubber is of a softer (grippier) compound than most tyres. Also the block-spacing worked for me!

  13. Hi Bruce Quick answer on bikes - add 32.7% of value (15% duty of value plus 15.4% VAT on the new amount). So the Cannondale of R32 000 will b a total of +/- R42 450 with hopefully free shipping on that amount!
  14. Been riding my set over 3000km. Broke one spoke on the back wheel after about 1000km and nothing else. But that goes with any wheelset. Great wheels!
  15. Hi Hubbers Not sure how many of you have seen this... Guess we are going to pay big $$$ soon! Price Explosion at Main Carbon Fibre Suppliers FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany - Dealer acceptance of price increases between 5% and 10% overall was one of the big issue’s at Eurobike this year. However, the carbon segment in the industry will face a much larger price hike as the three main suppliers of carbon fibres, Toray Industries, Inc., Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd., Toho Tenax Co. have increased their price with a huge 66%. It’s not yet clear how this will affect carbon fibre frames, forks and other bike components for season 2011 but this new price development will surely have a big impact. Published @ 05-09-2010
  16. 100% correct/ CRC purchases are done with CC's. Bank tranfers requires a importers code or reserve bank permission...
  17. Also - you will have to be registered with SARS as an Importer, except if you use a clearing agent who might then use their importers nr to clear your goods...
  18. Hey Palaedom PM me with any questions about that HT. It was one I brought in from Taiwan to asses quality, finishing of frame etc before distributing them (same with roadbikes) In essence it is a demo-model that has hardly been ridden. I have decided that for the time being I am concentrating my efforts on the SINTESI-bikes as they are more well-known, unbelievable quality and excellently priced. Sintesi also has a dual-suspension available which the Taiwan-factory did not have... I handed the EVO HT in at Avron's shop to be sold. Hope that helps Cheers Naas
  19. Yes. Cool - I am doing the Pyrenean Performance stages. Any other hubbers?SA riders going?
  20. Ronan Pensec Travel?
  21. Agree with hubbers Kiwi is cool and legit.
  22. Thx! That is the biggest selling point about the Sintesi's! Not for everyone but the rider that wants Italian flair...
  23. SINTESI 609 Dual... In Red or white...
