  1. Still would lo\ove to see a guy running the 100m in under 9 secs, it would make for good TV, even if the chap has a heart attck at the finished line. Great entertainment i say. Its time to actually just let these dopers/cheats do what they want. As many posts above say the rich guys/teams/clubs are doing it anyway so why dont they just legalise dope and if any athlete is dumb anough to dabble then fine. at least the playing field is evened out. What will happen is after a couple of years many pro and amatuers will start dying and logic will overcome this madness to perform. Im afraid this will never stop and dopers will always be ahead of testers. Only way to go fwd is to step back and let people do what they want. Is this fair....no...is this realistic yes. The athletes that dont dope will probably not be able to compete but lets be honest most sports excluding cycling, doping can only get you so far you still need talent to play soccer/cricket/tennis/golf etc The roids would do more damage than good. Other sports like cycling they all do it anyway so let em do it. Cant see any other way around this issue.
  2. I have ownede a anthem for 2 years and i know have a trance 2 years also. Never had any issues
  3. also bought inola they were absolute crap. The chamois seperated rom the shorts after 4 rides. Stay away from that brand,.

  6. Google it you will get so many results it will take you a year to settle on a bike. In the USA they have so many brands it will make your head spin

  8. wow thats quite a difference, not sure what that means but it looks as if the shimano takes a lot of strain
  9. Go to Cycletraders in Woodtock, Avron has loads of second hand bikes and he will offer advice thats not married to a brand

  14. Kenda NevGALS do it for me in any conditions
  15. Oh Boy this one could get interesting
  16. You right i will climb the ramp section , no more pink drinks for me
  17. The gradient at Tokai is nto steep on the singletrack in 99% of the trails its only steep where the downhill guys ramp up by the top split. That part is not rideable in the up direction anyway.
  18. I ride tokai twice a week. I love riding up and down the singletrack. My take is this the downhill rider should have the right of way as its such fun going down you dont want to stop everytime someone is huffing up the track. When im huffing up the track and i see some guys flying down i move to the side they zip past and i carry on ..no worries. Then when its my turn i expect the same treatment. On weekend mornings if you ride up the single track you a chop im sorry to say but you are. Riding downhill singletrack is the spirit of the sport to muck that up would really be taking the fun out of MTB. SO thats that then teh rule is made uphill move over on singletrack and let the dhill guys rip and no uphill on sat/sun am....and remember im watching u
  19. My money is on the lil girl in blue. She has them right where she wants them.
  20. I also only MTb with a few road rides inbetween. I have found that this MTB year most of the events have not been organised by PPA. In the last few weeks the Gravel Travel, Slanghoek, Lourensford and i think Die Burger were not PPA events. So what are the advantages to being a member?? Also i find Roag is creeping into a lot of Western Cape events and there events seem to be much more organised than the PPA and they are free. Gravel Travel as an eg they took it over from PPA and it ran smoothly compared to last years F Up
  21. i think cwc online has them on special for 250
  22. I believe its because you have weak core muscles. Core is different to stomach muscles. Do plenty core excercises for 3 weeks and see how you go, it worked for me.
  23. Trance is the king of the trail
