Does anyone have the number of Carte Blanche or Special Assignment for me. I need to contact them for something. Cant say about what, its confidential. There are a lot more things thats going on, maybe that must also go on this forum. Because everything gets swept under the carpet. like the last 30 years I've been riding. I've been suspended for life once after something I said, no hearing whatsoever! Another time a person just told me to hand over my licence, cant race again. Because I questioned a decision made by a commissaire. I feel like resigning now from my position in my province, but I owe it to the riders to try and get the right people in next week. People that do it for the passion, but also run a good business at the same time. I'm also gatvol of this, if I cant make a change on the 23rd at congress to get the right people in for the cyclists I'm out. I cant imagine being involved in a sport that takes up so much time, and you're against the riders. It doesnt make sense. I will campaign, (no I dont want a big position) and will probably get stabbed in the back. But then I can go home and ride my bike.

Gypsy, and you are parent of??? WE dont have all the evidence here. This bullsh*t of a strained forearm is nonsense. The most effective way to push is lower back or saddle. I think you have a vested interest here but youre hidingn behind another name. You're far too emotional to not be involved. How did she do in the race of truth, the TT? That should tell us something about her ability.But dont ruin a young career, even if she did get pushed for 20seconds. Lets see what she does at road SA's, if she isnt good, she wont win. But the comms MUST speak to her and esp the MR Price boy.

Hats off to Erik, the boy from Maties. Finished 12th overall, not doing any big hours in DEc, Jan. For preparation he just raced. WEnt into Epic under prepared, last 3 days, 10th, 7th, 10th. Also hats off to Erica Green that pulled Hanlie Booyens up most hills the last few days. And that after stopping cycling for 8 years.

thanks, was available this year with the injuries forcing me out of epic. my giro commentating at the circle for the signal hill tt was also cool until pick n pay got me removed as not being family friendly. a bit under the belt.

u16 willie engelbrecht, junior johan engelbrecht, senior snah2, Hans DEgenaar. i think willie was outsprinted by Wayne Phyffer.

tips, the u16 and juniors are brothers, the junior(older brother) was captain of sa junior team against zimbabwe, now riding epic, didnt cycle between ages 20 and 45. i always thought he was the better road rider of the 2. now its easy.

well done to snah2, the gold medal winner of the 1976 SA road champs, and 2nd in 1977 (where i was a 14 year old spectator in stellenbosch, latrinus 13) Question for some more cake, snah cant compete. Which 3 Stellenbosch cyclists won the 3 silver medals at the SA road champs in 1977 for u16, junior and senior/elite? The race started and finished in Merriman Ave Stellenbosch, opp van der Stel sportsgrounds, did laps outside Somerset West, snah lost in a 2 man break away to a Natal rider.

thanks for the confidence mallo. would love to contribute, just not sure if it entail too much politics, meetings and meetings and spending money, en dan gebeur vokol. also not healthy with carinus in his job, and me also involved. will be easy for people to point fingers. if i know i'll make a difference i'll be available, but it seems like its an ego thing. and i'm fine with my self confidence, dont need to be on a board to feel better about myself. but will still love to go shake things up, esp at the office, and get road and track to the right direction.

Douglas Ryder for road? Abdul (track) got weird ideas sometimes, like qualifying to ride prov track champs. Almost trying to get people NOT to ride. But he is very keen. Where's my name?
