Chereise's manager wanted her to go to elite worlds this year. Hunter didnt want to ride, and Ronel is not the best rider in the world. I really dont know why people get so excited. I really think they picked a good team, people are going on as the whole team is wrong. Why isnt anyone moaning that , for example Hanco is not going in place of Nolan at u23. I think Hanco COULD go better on a hard hilly circuit than Nolan. But Hanco, his fans are acting like adults about it. Or anyone else that feel they were treated unfairly. But WHY if its about girl selection or racing you people are carrying on like this is the most important thing in the world. Have you people looked at the profile of the worlds course, seker nie... I wonder if Malcolm, Hanco,pietie, Kosie en Klasie nou ook gaan resign en retire.

So all this moaning is about one girl that wasnt selected?? Why does girl stuff have 10 times more people moaning than guy stuff. I want to know why Luke Watson, Jacques Kallis is not in teams. But i dont think the circuit suites Ronel. And to take sprinters is stupid if they get dropped on a hard circuit. But every sport has its armchair critics. If you guys all paid licence fees, the team could've been bigger. My opinion would be 2 girls only. And regarding Perry, he is a back up for TT, and he is in Europe, so its very cheap to include him. Yes, money makes a difference, and if you have 2 riders of similar abilities, youll send the person that is there allready.

Groot Lem got e mail along with other provinces. Latrinus is not a selector. Fullard is one of the new selectors and he wont put his own man Lange in as it is not Malcolm's type of race. And anyone that think Malcolm should be in knows nothing. Its like 270k's on a hard circuit. Hunter wasnt available. So dont shout if you dont know. I know that Latrinus tries to get the right systems in place for selectors but he has no influence on team. Re the girls I dont know whats going on. Remember when Ronel won SA's there was a ladies team overseas. I dont know Ronel as a rider, just know she is a very nice person. Not sure if she can handle the hard circuit as well as the climbers. Not sure why they selected Anriette or how her shape is.

A few friends are busy organising a new team but registers them with individual sponsorships. Now the must remove the wording that says "veterans racing team" from the allready made clothing. Because they are individuals riding together and not a registered team. Our top young u16 riders in Boland are getting supported by a Neo sponsor from next month. Now the riders, that are all PDI's must also be registered as individually sponsored riders at about R300 each. Do they want to carry on chasing away people, riders and sponsors, or do they want to grow the sport? it seems like things are changing on the surface, but the internal sh*t is the same we had to deal with for the last 50 years.

Brandon, a lot of good pros in SA earn less than R10 000. The top MTN riders must get about R25k?? Why dont you think a local pro will earn more than ML in the next 5 years?
