Gusef is only 46sec behind Soler in young rider GC. Soler didnt waste too much energy today, a lot less than the top 4 in GC. He went away 5km from top of climb, and TT the downhill. Not too bad for the reward. i see robbie Hunter is 3rd in points now, only Boonen and Zabel in front of him.

Minette is from Stellenbosch. She won the ladies race 2 years ago, then were sick for more than a year, just started again. Think she signed for Harmony team this year. Will kick ass in Knysna. She finished 4th in Bloem after training for a month.

I think UCI is partly to blame. If they send a letter in May that states you cant select someone that finished top 8 in previous nationals, then I wouldnt think its a champs AFTER the letter was send. How can they expect us to select/change selections 3 weeks before B worlds??

When will the UCI pull more riders out , I dont expect the favourites to start. Valverde, Kloden.... pat McQuaid is summoned to appear in Germany next monday about some sh*t, not sure what.

i saw a photo of Nic White posted on the Hub in the TT? I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like a normal bike. Will a pro like Nic or Malcolm race with something else than a Raleigh?? Never! Even if they have to ride a normal bike. Thats the difference. Which pro teams riders HAD TT bikes for SA's? A lot of our younger pros are very spoilt, they must go to Europe, ask Craven, Impey and others, there you ride your bike, the issued one, and shut up. But nothing personal against Davel.

i dont think there are bad vibes from team management side, his team mates were pissed off. He rode this great TT bike and still had a bad ride, out of the medals. Why sign for a team that pay you a salary if you dont want to ride the bikes thats supplied? He is a young man thats confused and emotional, and a strong rider. But i think his mind will stand between him and great results. And wasnt he positive or under suspicion a while ago.
