I dont know whether it is my imagination but I have done al 3 JHB races so far this year (Fast One, Emperors,Dischem) and the quality of the marshalling has improved by 100% versus the previous years. the guys on the motorbikes are really doing a tremendous job. They are very involved and keep everything in perfect control. Thanks again for the marshalls in the VA group.

  18. I have two sets of wheels. Bontrager Aero Lite Tubby's and a set of Reynolds Assault carbon clinchers. I will use my old easton carbon bars and hopefully it will come close to the 6.7kg mark. I was contemplating about the frame but this will be my 3rd Giant Advance frame and I really enjoy it.Most comfortable ride that I have tried.
  19. I am busy building a new bike. Giant TCR Advance SL with SRAM Red groupset. What pedals would you recommend. I obviously want to keep the weight down on this bike and my current Shimmano Ultegra pedals won't do. Thank you
  20. Sorry for my ignorance. I am looking at purchasing one of these frames but according to my LBS it is all 2010 models. Is the 2011 model out as yet? What colours are available
  21. Hi ordered from CRC on the 28 th of May and received my order on the 4th of June at my local post office. The whole order about R4000 all clothing. Paid about 15% vat and R25 handling at the post office. Assume I was lucky.

  24. I went on Sunday with the TdF group and had a jol. The pace was hard for the ones that wanted to ride hard but there was a slower group with following vehicle behind.I ended up with 115km at 33.4km avg. (was quite windy) and legs were bushed as I haven't ridden for 3 months. All a bunch of nice guys and will do it again.
  25. Thank you for the reply. I used to ride with Bring It on in the Kloof area. We had easy rides on Wed and Fri, hard rides on Tues and Thurs and long rides on Sat and Sun. I ride both, road and MTB.
