  1. LOL......so that my wife don't hear.
  2. I guess for now I will go Road and wait for the pedal based systems to go mainstream.
  3. I am in the same position and I am leaning towards Road. Reason being that I think a road wheel would be better suited for indoor trainer. A good conti tire can be used on the road as well as indoor trainer. Indoor trainers can wear a tire pretty quickly. I don’t like the idea of using MTB tubeless tire on indoor trainer. I also don’t want to swap between normal tire and indoor trainer specific tire. Training off-road with a power meter and staying within specific power zones would proof difficult because of the varying terrain. You could use your MTB to train on-road but the indoor trainer is the main thing that is swaying it for me.
  4. Welcome back 2 da racing bro and better luck next week.
  5. Cycling South Africa Announcements – 09 February 2012 1. Cycling South Africa hereby announces the resignation of David Bellairs who served on the Board as Director Recreation. The Board would like to thank David for his service and wish him well. 2. The recent media article announcing the disaffiliation of Pedal Power Association from Cycling South Africa does come as a shock as it precedes the constitution-discussion meeting scheduled for 18 February 2012 where all affiliates will have an opportunity to raise any concerns. Like any other affiliate, PPA no doubt is an important entity and has done a significant amount of work to the benefit of not only those involved in cycling, but to the broader public. We sincerely appreciate the work being done by PPA. 3. As mentioned with the cancellation announcement of the 2012 Tour of South Africa, the financial issues pertaining to the Tour were to be resolved after meetings with the joint Board comprising Cycling SA and Primedia. Primedia have in the meantime issued a letter requesting payment of outstanding finances. Cycling SA will be engaging with Primedia to resolve this matter.
