  1. Build a new 29er and I enjoy the fact that my front rotor is always perfectly aligned. On the front I have 15mm tru-axels and NO rotor rub is a joy not evens rubbing when I am standing and putting down the power. Rear wheel still 9mm and managed to shift the wheel twice already. I plan on replacing my normal 9mm with the DT Swiss RWS levers. http://www.dtswiss.com/Products/Components/RWS/RWS-MTB-(1).aspx

  6. DId you only buy the cartridge and used your existing O/B shock? How much was it for the cartridge and where did you buy it from?
  7. Interesting :-O Is/was it a FIT shock and what issues have you been experiencing? I am currently in the market for a 29er shock and I was looking at getting a Fox FIT fork.
  8. I am also interested because I have heard that there has been issues with the FIT shocks.

  10. I was super impressed with the results achieved by the Exxaro academy riders. Well done to them (the riders) and to Exxaro for giving these youngsters the opportunity. Unfortunately not all previously disadvantage individuals will get this opportunity but they do have the opportunity to apply in future and hopefully then they might get into the program.
  11. I also know a guy who is having the same issues and I also saw a guy in a race and when he stood up I could hear his back wheel rubbing against the frame.

  13. What I saw on the tv last night did not look like a sidewall cut to me. It look like the cut was on the tread/running surface.
  14. I know what happened. David, being a roadie, was wheel sucking Kev. Now that is common mistake roadies make when they start MTBiking. Kev gave way for the rock but did not point out the rock 2 Dave (not required when MTBiking). Kev hit the rock and booooom !!!! Bwahaha....I'm just taking the piss out of you hubbers...LOL

  16. Reminds me of this years Attakwas where I cut both my brand new 26" Maxxis Larsen CrossMarks LUST. **** happens !!!
  17. The cold air solidifies the slim. I would recommend you only use a bomb if u broke the seal and cannot manage to get the wheel inflated with your pump.
  18. might not be equipment but could have been that the tire pressures was to low :-( And ones you use a bomb then the slime becomes useless. That probably explain why Suzie had 'n pumb in his back pocket on yesterdays stage.
  19. Thanks Mr LOOK and how about bringing it with to Cape Town when you are next in town?
  20. I'm cape town based :-(
  21. Does anyone know of someone who does this here in SA? An optimum adjustment. Look has created an tool for setting up your Kéo Cleats for an optimum adjustment called the KÉO FIT. The system will help the cyclist choose the correct cleat that corresponds to their correct float based on the cyclists' pedaling anatomy. The cleats that are available are the red cleats 9º, the grey cleats 4.5º, and the black fixed cleats. The device determines the cyclists' natural pedaling style and foot position for the most efficient pedaling. Benefits : • Accurately Choose your Kéo Cleat (Red, Grey, or Black) • Efficient Pedaling for more power transfer • Limit the risks of knee injuries and tendinitis The KÉO FIT has been used with Pro Tour Teams like Astana to fine tune the cleat position http://www.lookcycle.com/en/all/look-cycle/technologies/techno-keo-fit.html
