  1. Reading that, he is going to use B sample as a last option possibly and exhaust alternative options to clear his name before requesting B sample. Which he has all right to do.
  2. Correct and if they are specifically looking for a certain substance then it may take little longer. B sample is tested yes, but if that is also positive, then there is a legal process and so forth. The process yes takes time, more so that the general public like - also here clearly - but the processes are this: Imagine your cycling favourite returns a positive, would you not want a fair and legal process to protect themselves best as possible incase that is contamination or similar events for example? Or better yet, put yourself in the said athletes shoes, how would you want the process to happen to be air against yourself? Much like being caught stealing at work....Simply be fired cause the pencils were in your desk drawer?
  3. You are correct, you always want a quick outcome - especially if they innocent but you only get to that conclusion following a process. There is more to it from admin/legal side than most know. Its not a quick "ok you positive so you banned" or "ok its mistake you fine" Both can and do have grave consequences. Remember also that his is not the only sample being tested at the lab. cycling is not the only sport so there are thousands upon thousands of samples being tested, retested etc across multiple disciplines. Does that make timing right? Who knows but as I said when there is wrong doing, it is a very careful process from there on out for the athlete, testing authority and and and. Everyone wants a outcome today. that will never happen an its not cause the system is broken, its cause there is a process that protects everyone.
  4. There is a lot of legal and protocols that need to be followed to both protect the athlete and the organisation. Notifications are often before to the athlete then public. The athlete has a period to request a B sample. More times than not, they run this to the 12th hour for obvious reasons
  5. After reading these pages and the history, Im in agreement with this post. Zero frame, zero chance of money being returned.
  6. Remco got dropped, lost 48s at the finish and nothing in the last 1-1.5km by riding his own pace. For todays stage, you can’t fault that. I do wonder how he is health wise, he has a large bandage on his upper thigh after his crash and is walking with a limp off the bike. He needs to limit anything potentially tomorrow as his rivals will carry confidence after today and go into the rest day.
  7. weekends racing is going to be so good.
  8. Couldn't be further from he truth. 10/10 for trying, but work on that insecurity.
  9. Have you ever raced in a World Tour Peloton in a classic for example? That level is there and for longer.
  10. If he can't be good 2 days in a row at his level, he needs to try golf.
  11. Yes, huge volume. 11 days of racing will kill his MTB season.
  12. These are the Worlds best riders, to say they don't spend time on their bikes is alittle insulting. As reference VDP arrived 3 days before means what? These riders don't need hours and hours on a course. Sure they ride on the road, ALL MTB riders do(or should), I was in Livigno in June and the Hotel has the Willier Team in, all riding road, I tell my mtb riders to do road it has a benefit.
  13. True for sträva, but when is Gaze racing road?
  14. Interesting that you know every time they train what bike they train on. Please don’t tell me strava is your data source
  15. Youngsters with to much testosterone and in the limelight do change as they get older. Not always but they do in some cases.
  16. Got it.
  17. Froome would be doing no better on calliper brakes.
  18. What were you expectations from him?
  19. 2 positives can come from this: 1 - If this was just about Thule advertising their products, they have won. As everyone here is mentioning that this is all that was noted in the interview. 2 - If not, then his agent can help guide him in media relations on how to conduct interviews in a public friendly manner and not have the reaction he has had here. 2 wins out of 1 interview.
  20. If I was to have 1 race wonder it would be world champs
  21. No dude. This is up there with "Chemtrails contribute to EBV"
  22. His results do show a improvement from NC onwards into his season, positive came from NC which was before Leogang. Sure, riders do ride into form through a season and they also do ride out of form and struggle towards the latter part of a season. But still https://www.xcodata.com/rider/mathias-flueckiger/2022/#race-results

  24. Brodie Chapman goes to Trek from FDJ
  25. She will continue in 2023 maybe with a new team maybe on the same team
