  1. 1 has made it The other 1 is me
  2. Nope, takes a lot to offend me. All good dude
  3. If you need a copy for your wallet we can sort that
  4. Matt and I go way way back and are close mates. He was on my case all the time about a gravel bike and a personal theme. Bike is built in honor of my father who has passed away from cancer. The paintwork - especially the fork, is based on the full body tattoo I have which is dedidcated to my father, his struggles he had and my demons as they say as kid growing up. I actually had very little to do with it as he and my wife put it all together to what you see today. I bought the saddle and had some input on some small things like the scribe on the top tube. The frame itself is a mix of Columbus, HSS, life and Zona with a full carbon seat tube. Has hand built wheels also. That’s kinda it I guess.
  5. Got this made up by Matt. Will post some other pics shortly but it will also be featured on GCN shortly.
  6. Negative test actually
  7. Alex lives in Andorra and rides with many of the Pro's living there. He is not *** on a bike either.
  8. 2019 and it was not 6kg. Not close either. The reason was nutritional intake in terms of CHO per hour and was not periodised. Since 2020 that has never been a issue
  9. When done correctly it is accurate. Do you want to do something like this or this detailed for Sani? No, Tour de cap? No. For example over 21 days at the Tour our riders do not lose or pick up weight, we stay stable. yes sure, a top or increase ever so slightly here or there but in general nothing.
  10. Calories consumed is what person is taking in Calories expended is what a person is using When you want to monitor or track workload it is calories expended over a stage or event. To track calorie consumption is pretty easy to obtain.
  11. Great post and valid information on variables and there is as experiencing long covid in people who have been effected.
  12. Blevins 68kg Beers 79kg There is no doubt expenditure is more for Matt but its calories expended not consumed. Strava analysis or actual data and factual feedback? Blevins is not ripping his legs off as you have said, this isnt a mid pack team at Sani of office workers, he is actually an incredible partner, its basically the opposite.
  13. Bold statement about his recovery from the stomach issue there and what the overall effect is.
  14. This; well analysed
  15. It’s a marathon event that has xc points so they did it to get points to start higher up come wc’s. So now their marathon teams entering as they should. to say the field is not deep is not correct. It’s plenty deep and when you compare data from the last 5 years, this years event is ******* hard and fast. Data doesn’t lie and the level has progressed.
  16. terrible and condolences to all
  17. Doubt should be over their tyre and/or line choice
  18. Some teams barely make the entry cost.
  19. this also isnt SX with heat race wins or moto bonus's
  20. Stage win for exposure and personal is big for any rider or team, it sometimes carries a team into the next season or helps that rider negotiate better on the next contract. However, it is not there for a stage win on 97% of the teams. Epic is typically a overall GC Bonus only and also in a very few teams only. To win a stage is often better than coming 5th overall on GC
  21. You raced them at Epic and had same handling conditions?
  22. Partner is finding it tough. Tristan is good.
  23. Its a stage win at Epic. Free or not its a big thing for a cv.
  24. Many of the ladies teams have done stage races in Europe instead. Med Epic for example. More competition depth and cheaper to attend (as budget was mentioned)
