thats so frustrating living in ireland....you have to battle with the elements....as as irishman here my vit d levels are pretty good...and i get a good colour...

ireland has its moments of horizontal rain....

the winter rain hasn't finished yet...a quick spin this am after the week being on the road bike..like riding in this weather if the wind isn't too harsh...

the winter weather can be a hindrance or a help.....the headwind was a pain...but all you need is a bit of small blue sky...took the hardtail out on a local loop...a good hour or so....forgotten how well it still rides....its needs more attention...

the beams did light up my Scott...

playing around with some existing routes....trying to add on little sections...lovely last few mornings...quick route and not technical...simple cycling...

never a rider who likes very technical riding...local trials here can be those...but glad i went out with a friend...rode a trail that time forgot...rocks....stones...otherwise a great morning....

one of the best i have seen in a long while....

cycling is usually well covered on super sport....lets hope we get some good coverage..

take me higher.... a bit of different route planner over the last few days...a bit more climbing....too many spoke breaking issues recently....dampens the mojo on the bike...

it was a beautiful morning...recent rains have produced streams and rivers and they are free flowing....had to modify my route this am....glad I did...a few hills...and lovely peaceful views..

the road bike was taken out this am...quiet roads for a Friday....t...local trails etc are still very wet...maybe next week for those i think ....

got out for maybe 45 mins before rain kicked in here...very windy...and now its just rain...the turbo trainer has been set-up....

The Wednesday ride sets out to be as long as possible....the idea is to explore...find some new single-track maybe...views....etc...sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.....

it was another winters morning chasing the splits in the river mist...The mornings seem to take this pattern at the moment..after a bike free weekend it was worth the effort to gather in the damp mist and be greeted by sunshine..

odd cycling week....little power....but good to do a bit of single track etc....local trails can be a bit tech at times....but it was very enjoyable in places..

cycling mojo can sometimes take a hit...got the road bike out for the last few days...just a gentle hour today...maybe tomorrow as well if life and time allows...

well lets say not very far...the turbo in the garage for a short while...as the wind and rain pelts down here...( picture from yesterday evening...much better fun...)
