looks like home...you never forget those colours...

one of those cycling days when you you were running on just a few cylinders...muddy...and grafting...

that looks lovely....

a bit more exploring locally to me...the single track building elves were at work recently....#worldbicycleday was a quick ride...

the river fog was out this morning....thick...but fun riding through until it cleared...or again didn't clear...lovely am out..the mornings have something special to bike riding recently in these troubled and uncertain times for all..

as a bike rider we need oxygen and even colder mornings....it was a cold start...

thats colder than here...of course 0600 to 0645 is the coldest...i dont have a reliable app to say but its about 10c I would think....you can see your breath rising...but when it warm-up its noticeable...sun on your back etc... from my experience 1-5c is cold....little wind here at the moment...

the coolest morning of this weeks bike rides.....but still it was glorious...back on the hardtail...

at least we are not a surfer or similar at the moment... on a more serious note...you might see TTs going back in vogue as riders need competition...as for mass start events etc its going to be an insurance nightmare...travel.. events will have to try to be smart...for mtb riders...no groups at all...start at intervals etc..passing spots on trails etc...the big fun group element that makes events in this country so special and unique will struggle initially but they will be back.. but as for race villages etc....i wish these events well..its a brilliant unique experience here in SA and I say that as an outsider...

only saw bikes from a few manufactures...very disappointing....was out of there very quickly....even went round twice so i didn't miss much...

the 5kms rule makes you use different rules to your normal routes....nice morning out...one other cyclist in the distance....

but sad to see this event not being able to run in circumstances that out of others control etc...

at the moment Europe is getting a pounding....

appropriate decision to make... well done wester government for taking a lead here...the load on a local health care system with positive tests could be immense

EPO...Will do nothing if you haven't been on a training programme...you will need a dodgy trainer if you are using it illegally etc... you amount of red blood cells will be thickened....good for at the moment o2 and training up...but the blood volumes get thickened ...( not good)...bigger chance of adverse clotting etc.. ps dont touch the stuff...
