Hi' date='

What about a Cannondale Caad 4 compared to the Trek 1500 ?

Like I've said before. Even a 20 year old Cannondale is better then a brand new 1500 frame.

Bwahahah Mints! Wanted to say something like that, but okay...my honest opinion

Don't go for the TREK 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000...they're strong as anything, but flippen heavy and not too a great ride. Oh...and everyone has one or had one in the past (shall we dig up photos of when we all just started out??WinkLOL)

CAAD5 or 4 anytime thenThumbs%20Up

Well, ok. I'm being obnoxious today EmbarrassedSmile

Seriously, my brother is riding a CAAD4 which I hope to inheret as he is shopping for a 7 or 8.

He loves it!

No questions.....definitely the Dale over the Trek!

My bro paid R2800 for his frame 2nd hand 4yrs ago....suppose that doesn't help much, eh?

I am 1.83m.  I have been riding the 56 for 9 years and the 54 for 4 years.  The smaller frame is MUCH better!

Trek is the way to go! Do you think they would sell any of the dale's if they did not bling them up Wink

One thing I can give trek 10/10 for is their after sales service - In the very rear occasion that you might need to take it back Big%20smile

I'm 1.88 and the 56 is just right. But I've got long legs and shorter torso. So I need a 57 seat tube and 56 top tube and only Bianchi makes it in that geometry. But the seat tube you can compromise with the seat post. Always look for top tube length, not seat tube.

Are you 1m07 or 1m70?LOL

At 1m70 the 54 is also too big, although I am unfamiliar with the C's geometry. I am 1m76 and I ride a 52/53!!
