Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted February 2, 2015 Share Red Bull has just send their car out without a front wing! http://cdn.images.autosport.com/editorial/1422871889.jpgIf you think about it, it's actually a pretty good move. It will more than likely happen during the season at some point in time, so why not know the effects on the car's dynamics?
Iwan Kemp Posted February 2, 2015 Share From http://live.autosport.com/commentary.php/id/814 JONATHAN NOBLE has just been speaking to Red Bull team boss Christian Horner about the RB11 running without a front wing. Kvyat damaged the only wing Red Bull has here at Jerez, so the team is carrying out very basic work that is can complete without one while a spare is flown out. There's no guarantee that the new spare will make it to Spain in time to allow the team to do any more proper running today, so everyone at Red Bull is having to cross their fingers. Steven Knoetze (sk27) Posted February 2, 2015 Share Kinda related.... Nissan's 2015 LMP1 challenger. Front wheel driver, front mounted engine with bigger wheels front than rear...sure is different if nothing else. http://cdn-4.motorsport.com/static/img/mgl/1900000/1980000/1980000/1980800/1980874/s8/wec-nissan-gt-r-lm-launch-2015-the-nissan-gt-r-lm-nismo.jpg It is basically a back to front GTR then. Runs the same(or very similar) 3.6L V6 engine.Should be interesting..... Iwan Kemp Posted February 3, 2015 Share The more I think about it the more I realize what a HUGE mistake Honda (and McLaren) made by going exclusive in their first year. While McLaren has been battling another team could possibly have raked up some km's - pending obviously that the issues aren't 100% on Honda's side. Also now McLaren have no reference on the chassis side. I truly hope this works out for them...

GoLefty!! Posted February 3, 2015 Share that Ferrari is genuinely fast. still early days and its only testing but the Ferrari pu sounds a lot smoother on downshift and more seamless on the upshift than last years. Signs are that they have fixed their PU integration and mapping problems of 2014 Captain Fastbastard Mayhem
