Not quite as good as the one that was broadcasted about a year or two ago, What struck me though was the competitors (or is particpants better in the context of the Freedom Challenge?). They were all talking about how they were positively influenced by the experience, how it challenges you to take stock of your life. They all seemed humble genuine human beings. David Waddilove, the brain behind the FC, was in my res and class at varsity, I remember a cycling trip with David through Stellenbosch at 3:30 am one morning.
tombeej Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Ja, it came across much more as a personal journey than a race. Actually the winning times were an afterthought in the program last night. This is definitely now on my bucket list.
