can someone just do a short and sweet for me on where and when??

7AM SATURDAY - NORTHERN FARMS

7am' date=' I do sphincter clench each time. Think i'll put coffee in my hydration pack Big%20smile

@slick- www.northernfarm.co.za or ut could actually be www.northernfarms.co.za .. plural
[/quote']

Just got off the phone with Debbie - their ticket office is open 6am to 6pm, so tickets no prop - (R180 for 20 or R18 for 1)

Thanks guys.

Greatwhite, singular ( http://www.northernfarm.co.za/ ) seems to work for me.

It's like that with everything Thug. As soon as they build it and they come, they push up the prices. Still very cheap though.

I see the greateggwhite has already posted my map 'n all. Will make some print outs with the aerial photo - should be easy enough to follow.

Welcome to the 'hub'' date=' slick Wink

Thanks for the the 'eggwhite' thing, I see thats stuck
[/quote']Only saw your ninja edit now...

I thought it was kinda clever. What with your radical change of diet - eating egg whites in the morning - and if you remove ate out of that lot you end up with... oh never mind!

Anyway, hope the "egg" on your face doesn't stick for too long.  Big%20smile

Hello, this is your course guide speaking....

Now, before this became the great NF Hub expedition of epic proportions there were going to be 5 of us doing a recon. This meant that we were going to ride the first half of the old route (green line) just to erase the slight doubt about the locality of points #1 and #2 on the map above.

Now, either the NF regulars here on the Hub can confirm that they are 100% confident they know these points OR:

(1) I am going to have to arrive 30 minutes earlier (any volunteers -  danger dassie?) to ride to those points on the green route.

(2) The whole tribe of hubberscan do the old route first as a warm up...

(3) We do the new route and I and/or other NF regulars can scout ahead.

So, what's it gonna be?

PS. I'd rather not do (1) - for dd's sake have a heart.

What's the point of riding the old route?

Definitely vote for route No. 1 (in yellow).

I thought I spelled it out. I'm not 100% sure I know the exact point where yellow deviates from green (#1 on the map). If I'm to be responsible for getting 25+ mtbers around the actual yellow route I'd like to know for sure.

If you know it then problem solved.

A few of the riders got GPR on their bikes . Export the google earth image to that little device and I am sure you will not get lost . Anyway it is north farm , if you don't climb fences you will not be lost forever !

Ok, I have plotted the whole route on Google Earth and put placemarks at various points.

For those that have GPS's I can email all those placemarks for you to upload.

PM me with your email addy.
