OK, so this is potentially interesting... I've put it in terms which eliminate the grey areas which people would usually be pretty quick to point out in an attempt to "win by getting the best of both worlds". None of that.

You're given a choice by some deity. From now on until the end of your life, you're only allowed one of two pleasures. You can't pick both. You can't pick one and then the other. It's permanent. There is no turning back.

Option 1: You get easy access to the sweetest, most varied, challenging singletrack imaginable. You get to ride it as often and for as long as you want to. You can however never get Nookie again. Ever.

Option 2: You get access to as much of the sweetest, varied (hey, I had to match up the adjectives to make it fair), challenging nookie imaginable. You get to ride as often and for as long as you want to. You can however never touch singletrack again. Ever.

Pick one.

Ready, steady, go!

Easy choice for a roadie. :)

Ok, on a more serious note here. I gave up a lot of nookie to go cycling with the buddies, spent hours in the garage afterwards pampering my ride and then other hours having recovery naps.

Needless to say, the IDT got largely ignored and one day asked why I rode the bike so much. My honest and cynical answer at the time was :"Bike never has a headache or says 'I'm not in the mood'."

I am now divorced. I can ride whenever I want, for as long as I want and with whom I want. Looking back, I would do it all differently if given the chance to do it all again. But then again, we always see things more clearly in hindsight. :(

Depends on who the women is. For Paris Hilton I'll give up nookie without even riding the worlds worst single track. For Yvonne Strahovski I will sell my bike without even thinking twice.

YES!! Sarah is hot, hot, hot!!

I like to ride Tokai. It's my local, i'm familiar with it but still get excited by riding it each time.

I can say the same things about my tjerrie.

Now I'm damn sure that i haven't ridden the sweetest singletrack out there yet (despite 4 months in whistler). I'm not going to comment on riding the sweetest nookie, for fear of backlash just in case - but you get my drift. So I don't think I'm really up to answering this question.

I think we should ask Greg Minnaar and take his word for it.

Nookie comes with all the added extra's which is not neccessarly a good thing.

Singletrack is just pure and simple

Nobody said anything about the nookie-add-ons :o

You're definitely not doing it right then

I'm definitely not doing what right? ;) I'm definitely not definitely not doing singletrack right but I'm definitely not doing any nookie right because I'm definitely not doing any at all. Guys just cause too many complications. :D
